From "Who's Who at the Zoo," written by George Mazzei and illustrated by Gerard Donelan for The Advocate in 1979. Possibly the first recorded usage of the term bear to refer to a gay subculture.
Can anyone help me find the rest of this? The only references to it I can find online are to this page.
I found the date: "Who's Who at the Zoo?" July 26, 1979, The Advocate. A large library, or library in a queer area, probably has the advocate in their periodical collection. Possibly not digitized though.
Wait @cbpolt posted it on Twitter but it's been made private. Maybe they'll share with you if you ask? https://mobile.twitter.com/CBPolt/status/1535327694614933504
Edit no no here it is! https://www.out.com/today-gay-history/2016/7/26/today-gay-history-when-advocate-invented-bears?pg=full

Thought this up, might draw later.
Hazbin Hotel, shortly after Angel dust earns his redemption and ascends to Heaven.
Charlie and Husker are sharing a drink at the bar.
C: I'm happy for him, really. But....
H: I get it.
C: He was our first guest. The first one who wanted to try redemption.
H: You know he was scamming you for a free bed, right?
C: Maybe at first, but... I don't know exactly when he actually wanted to try for redemption, but he really did want it.
H: And now he got it.
*Husker knocks back his drink and pours another*
H: And now he's up there ... someone else's problem. *He smiles* That annoying little, loudmouth, loser. *He sighs*
H: Damn, I'm gonna miss him.
C: Me too.
*As they clink glasses together, there's a bright glow outside the front doors*
*The doors are kicked open and in strides Angel Dust*
*Husker and Charlie spit out their drinks*
H&C: ANGEL!
A: 'sup bitches. Guess who's the new ambassador for heaven! *Strike a pose*
*Charlie runs up and hugs him tightly. Husker stands nearby, surprised look, light blush.*
C: You're back!
C: Wait! You're an ambassador? The ambassador for heaven?!!
A: Got it in one toots. And since I'm the ambassador, I not only get to spend most of my time down here, for diplomatic relations and whatnot, I get to choose my official residence.
*He smiles*
A: Can you recommend any good hotels?
*Charlie hugs him again, squealing with joy.*
H: You were gone, like, two days! How the hell did you get a job so fast? How the hell did you get anyone to trust you with that kind of job?!
*Angel smiles and looks at the silhouetted figure in the doorway*
A: There was someone who put in a good word for me.
*Figure steps forward. It's his sister Molly*

Person who has burned too much midnight oil: Hunh I wonder why I am out of oil at noon on a Wednesday. It surely cannot be the consequences of my actions from the past month
Person who has been burning their candle at both ends: Why does my candle keep falling over?

Up until that point, a particular literary genre had nurtured the American vision of homosexuality, a genre whose point of departure was a burning curiosity to know what really goes on in the lower depths: the hardboiled crime novel. While the reform-minded social realists (Crane, Norris, Farrell, et al.) had never had much time for homosexuality -- perhaps sharing the notion that it was chiefly an aristocratic pastime typical of pallid Etonians -- the hardboiled writers from Hammett onward found it hard to keep away. Although gays are not as commonly associated with tough-guy fiction as racketeers, crooked cops or B-girls, the fact remains that all the main contributors to the genre -- Hammett, Chandler, Cain, Spillane, Ross Macdonald, John D. MacDonald, among others -- helped to elaborate a gay stereotype. As the influence of hardboiled realism spread, the incidence of homosexual characters increased dramatically in mainstream mystery writing.
"Juno Was a Man; or, The Case of the Hardboiled Homophobes" - Geoffrey O'Brien, The Armchair Detective Vol. 18 #3 (Summer 1985)
A demon has cursed you with the inability to have children or form a family, and as soon as you learn of this you went to tell the witch who you promised your firstborn child, as this clearly will prevent you from fulfilling your side of the deal.
The witch just nods and calls her lawyer Fae. Even demons need to learn to not infringe on deals.
Lawer fae: "After reviewing all of the documentation, I'm happy to inform you that there is a very simple solution!" 😀
Witch: And that is?
Lawer fae: While we can't remove the curse ourselves, your deal predates it by a significant margin. And since the curse interferes with the deal maker's ability to fulfill their end of the agreement through no fault of their own, you would be well within your rights to demand that the Demon either remove the curse or pay the price instead!
Coming up next on "UNSEELIE COURT"...
I think we need a show like this. Either serious court drama or Ace Attorney shenanigans showcasing civil cases involving magical or supernatural beings and the deals or curses they make.
