As a polyamorous person it makes me laugh anytime someone calls me a cheater.

I was even once called a “consensual cheater” which obviously doesn’t work nor make sense, haha

I’d love a twist that Eric went with searching for her instead of her chasing after him.

She saved him that one time but he became so obsessed with the beautiful red hired girl in the oven that he went out to seek her. Stayed on the beach he washed up staring out for a sign. After 5 days he finally caught a glimpse of Ariel’s hair and rushes into the ocean. A wave splashes over him as he pushes himself through and dives into the ocean. Floating looking around for another glimps holding his breathe best he can. Once he feels light headed he reaches to swim up but gets caught by seaweeed keeping him below. Before he passes out she can’t stand by and let him drown showing herself again helping him undo the seaweeed that had him. This is where his shock kicks in as she in front of him and this moment where their eyes meet freezes them in time.
