I'm back!
Update. I'm back after a long hiatus. I managed to self source an nhs placement and carry it out over summer and get my registration portfolio completed. I'm now on my final year!
20 day challenge for the ultimate procrastinors
I was going to attempt 100 days of productivity⌠Which is a definite stretch for me, I donât even think I can last a day.. I have the attention span of a 2 year old. But Iâm going to set myself a challenge. Not as big but letâs say 20 days productivity challenge. Iâm going to call it the 20 day challenge for the ultimate procrastinors. If youâre like me you need to sign out of netflix and get studying for your exams! Iâm going to take it 20 days at a time. If I fall into an unproductive spiral I have to start the 20 days again. I donât have to dedicate the full day but I need to spend at least 20 days, spending at least a couple of hours on my work rather than Greys Anatomy. Will be aiming to start tomorrow so keep tuned. And If you decide to do this yourself tag me and use the #20daystudychallenge
Monday - Double checked my pharmacology assessment before submitting, made a start on my biotechnology essay, doing lots of research and watching lectures
Tuesday - Still making progress with my essay
Wednesday - Up early to travel to Dundee for essential lab work, sadly we didnât get the results we needed but not to fear
Thursday - Finished my essay! Referenced and everything.. and as a reward watched some greyâs anatomy :)
Friday - Submitted Essay to Learner development and edited
Saturday - Super busy day at work so took the day off studying
Sunday - Started research for my pharmacology essay
Monday - Started Pharmacology Essay
Tuesday - Completed my statistics report
Wednesday - Made major progress with pharma essay
(Thought Iâd screenshot so you can see what kind of work I did :) )

Update
I'm back! This year has been extremely challenging studying online and not on campus with my friends.
I've managed to do great in my term 1 assessments. I got accepted and ready to do my clinical placement with the NHS but it sadly got cancelled due to the pandemic.
Term 2 assessments have been a struggle but I'm getting though, Finally been allowed in essential labs so some trips to Sunny Dundee have been great.
Being unable to enter a lab as an intern due to the pandemic and having a rejection from Q2 solutions has been very daunting but things are looking up, I am excited to be working on a mentoring scheme with CENSIS.
Busy this term on Biotechnology, Pharmacology and Laboratory Techniques Projects.
I'm Back... with a cheeky little Pharmacology Essay.
NOTES..NOTES..NOTES!
I have some rough notes typed up, with some screenshots available on notion.
I also still have some written notes, access to lecture slides and textbooks.
If anyones struggling with these modules, or topics within or just wants some extra notes, send me a message.
I have info for the following modules ; Haematology and Blood Transfusion & Clinical Biochemistry

Malaria Lecture on a Sunday Night
Write an essay with me!
I am doing my coursework right now for clinical biochemistry and pathology, my coursework is to do with inflammationa and I am writing about the inflammatory disease celiac disease.Â
I start by doing a tonne of research to get an insight to what I wanna right and the kinda structure Iâll go for.
I then use really handy extensions weava and mybib to help me!
And then everything gets flowing.Â
Donât hesitate to ask some more hints and tricks or any Qs about the extensions :)
Essay writing whilst enjoying my lunch and keeping hydrated.
