If a deer heard something nearby go DING DING DING DING DING DING at its general direction, it would at least look up to see whether the source of the sound is a threat or not? Just a quick "is that something I need to be concerned about?" type of glance.

The chemistry potential is what drew me into the rabbit hole originally. I really liked how they each tried to protect each other in Confrontation to begin with. And that’s one of my huge contentions with bringing children to protest, outside of intentionally putting them in an environment that that could easily become unsafe or dangerous for them (and basically using them as shields against criticism), is that kids and often even teens just do not comprehend or understand what they are even protesting.

Kids can understand whatever is happening. I don't think that means that they should be literally ignorant to what's happening in the world. I think personally that anon seriously is missing out on the subject of what exactly was being protest.

But if I'm gonna be real: The Left actually supports it because it's a legitimate civic engagement, the kids aren't too young because they have a direct impact.

They also emphasize personal impact on kids because IT ACTUALLY AFFECTS CHILDREN EMOTIONALLY AND MATERIALLY. KIDS ARE GETTING TAKEN AWAY BY THE GOVERNMENT. SO YEAH THE KIDS ARE A LITTLE SCARED.

Also most left-leaning perspectives love youth activism and also they frame it as moral urgenc. Many activists have argued that ICE's actions are harmful or unjust so yes protesting is morally justified. Because kids don't like seeing families sperated, or alleged excessive force.

You don't need to be an adult to see the problematic issues of being an immigrant in America. Not saying you're saying that but I'm not gonna pretend that the elephant isn't in the room. The kids are seeing the adults be the bad guys.

So yeah as long as the kids are doing it in a peaceful and not disruptive in harmful ways, that's not a problem. The issue I'm having is; why the fuck is anyone okay with the fact that the kids are being pepper sprayed? We should laude them as fucking good citizens for even caring about the things that are happening in the world.
