A Note for the Anti-Vaxx Mother
I’m normally peaceful and avoid confrontation, especially on the internet. However, with the anti-vaxx nonsense growing I needed to vent.
When you decide to not vaccinate your child, it is very much so my business. That moronic decision you made puts thousands of people at risk. Babies too young to be vaccinated, people with compromised immune systems, and the elderly all become threatened by many diseases that have been almost eradicated from the United States.
When you try to “inform” me that people survived for thousands of years without vaccinations, I want to INFORM you that 300 million people dyed in the 20th century alone from smallpox. Women would give birth to 10 to 12 children and only watch two of them grow up. That is why vaccinations became a thing. When you attempt to “inform” me that vaccines are what cause autism, I want to INFORM you that VACCINES DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM. That has been disproven repeatedly. Also, I would like to note that if you are a parent that would rather watch your child and hundreds of other children die from smallpox, or measles, instead of raising a child with autism then you are a disgusting human being and I don’t think you need to be parenting at all. When you try to “inform” me that vaccines are just a way for the government to earn money, I need you to know that vaccines aren’t profitable when compared to how much money the health care industry would be taking in from treating your children. Compare the price of a vaccine to the price of having a hospital treat your child with measles.
There are thousands of people now looking up to Kat Von D for inspiration. I don’t understand. This is a woman that vaccinated her cats to them safe? Why are you allowing her cats to be more important than her baby? If you are anti-vaxx because of veganism, the following links are for you:

If you are just a selfish human being that doesn’t care about the entire communities population, fine. Just know that your child is basically incapable of traveling safely. Taking your child to a park, to a grocery store, or daycare? Well, with the rise of this anti-vaxx community the chances are your child’s chances of getting many untreatable diseases are skyrocketed.
The United States is fortunate to have these vaccines so readily available, something you’re taking for granted. Many other places in the world are going without that luxury. There are parents in other places of the world that see these diseases spread. They witness what measles and smallpox are capable off on a daily basis. They pray for vaccinations so they don’t have to hold a dying child. I don’t mean to come off rude. I never wanted to reach this point of frustration. I care about you, and I care about your child. That is why I am asking you, please vaccinate your child. Not for me, but you that baby. Your child deserves more than a death from mumps, measles or smallpox.
