He's the opposite of heavy-handed

Smells like cinnamon, chocolate, musky, woody, antiques shop (in a familiar, homely way)

Goes out of his way to crunch fallen leaves by standing/walking on them

Always has warm hands

Has lots of vintage, unique trinkets

Enjoys sitting in candlelight and watching the fireplace

Will cherish gifts, especially handmade ones

Always buys a newspaper even if he says it's full of rubbish

Helps himself to firewhisky (handles alcohol well)

Incredibly respectful and well mannered

Most of his books are dog eared, spines cracked and tatty - not because he mistreats them, but because they are so well used
