I'm thinking of the "Loki and Sylvie getting processed by the TVA" parallel gifset again.
Loki, a grown god, dropped his facade and was confused and scared by the TVA processing. The set design for the TVA was made to feel claustrophobic and off. How the creepy robot disintegrating your clothes away, stripping you to nothing, leaving you vulnerable. The metal detector (aura detector) looming in front of you, waiting to zap you to bits if you're a robot. The way Loki just had a devastating revelation about his heritage and doubted his own body, thinking he might actually be a robot. There isn't a friendly face at the TVA. You're lost and scared and alone.
Now take Loki's fear, and multiply it by 1000. Sylvie was a tiny child when she was first brought to the TVA. She was forcefully taken from her home, watched as her world was pruned, and then shoved into a strange office floating throughout time/space. Loki might have been able to handle getting his fine Asgardian leather armor disintegrated off of him, but Sylvie? The process is incredibly violating already, but this is a tiny, confused girl getting examined and shoved around here. Sylvie's lucky she was a clever girl and managed to escape. It's scary to think about this authority who cares so little about the world they're pruning that they would put an innocent child in harm's way.

i rewatched that scene a few days ago because i wanted some screenshots and just... the way mobius at first tries to ask questions in proper TVA form, about what their plan was, about "how long" he was working for her, shit he has to write down..... but then it just gets more and more just mobius' personal gripes because he can't help himself !!!! shit that absolutely isn't part of the interrogation, petty ass comments because mobius is just jealous as shit and unable to hide it💀
