hey so filming people without their consent is weird. you know that right? filming people you don't know and they aren't aware of what you're doing is creepy. posting strangers online is fucking weird. we're too comfortable with doing it now for shits and giggles, chasing some sort of viral hit instead of reckoning with the fact that you posted someone who did not consent to their body and face being publically used.
we're being pushed these Meta Glasses as if mass surveillance of strangers is fun and normal! it's weird!!! there are already reports that people are using these to film women without them knowing and sharing it to communities who get off on this shit. who else knows who people are filming. these glasses with cameras are not obvious and that is dangerous.

There is this fascinating thing with iwtv fans where I keep seeing people say ‘they’re making lestat too sympathetic this season and invalidating his abuse of others’ but I ALSO keep seeing people say ‘lestat is so awful this season, they’ve ruined any chance of redeeming him, how is anyone supposed to love this character’ and I think that says a lot.
Will and El both being famous musicians, so different in music style but known as an iconic sibling duo.
El the pop star, or pop-rock, making songs like Olivia Rodrigo with the most gorgeous music videos. Everything about her is colourful, her clothes, her music sets and album covers, the highlights in her hair, etc. She's unapologetic and energetic and dances all around stage.
Will makes quieter, slower music, about much bleaker topics, kind of like Ethel Cain. His music videos are more experimental and he has a few that are literally just recordings of him painting something gothic and thematic and all his fans are a bit pretentious about the concept and art behind it all (in a fun way).
They feature in each others songs and mvs and its so funny because of how much they change when they do so. In El's videos, Will is suddenly dressed much brighter (closer to what he actually wears), whereas in his, they're both in grimy old beige and brown clothes probably stained with blood or something. El's getting ballgowns custom made and Will is hiring sfx artists to make realistic fake hearts, and you know what? They both LOVE each others music and art forms, they're each others biggest fan.
They also have an ongoing joke about having the same taste in men. It features in at least a third of El's mvs and half their interviews. People on the internet have theories as yet unproven about their childhood friend Mike and why it's his fault, but they just giggle when they're asked about it.

I think there's a great chance the existence of mirrors/reflective surfaces silently fucks Rocky up.
Like, Grace is in the bathroom, shaving, the curtain pulled to the side and suddenly he stops and says "stop touching my stuff". Rocky, frozen, somewhere behind him, can't fathom how Grace sensed that. He was so quiet. The razor is so loud. Grace's still facing away from him. What the fuck.
Grace repairing some panel or other and asks for a tool. Without even turning around, he says "no, not that one, the one to its left". Rocky's like are you shitting me. I know for a fact your hearing is ass. You can only see in one direction and I'm not in it!! What?!
