I'm Done Pretending...

The last time I took pills to feel better, I overdosed on pain medication. I thought it would make me numb to the painful memories and heart ache. My goal was to stop feeling my heart, not make it stop. But I was young then, now that I am older and strong enough to face the pain; I don't want to escape from my reality anymore. But I have been prescribe abilify for depression, it makes me so drowsy, and lack any type of energy. I just want to stop taking it, but it makes able to dismiss and not dwell on the suicidal thoughts. The goal is to take these pills, so I can numb out the thoughts, not my life.

I planned on turning this medicine wheel I finished making a while ago, into a medallion. But Grandpa Lorenzo asked me if he could buy it, but turn it into a necklace, my dad helped me with that. Then he mentioned he wanted some of the quarter size earrings I made. I showed him a pair I made, I could tell by the look on his face that he wanted them. I had no clue what to get him for Christmas, so I gave him the earrings as a present. Random fact: I gave him the first medicine wheel I ever made, he put it on his staff.
