{Content: Professor!Sevika x Student!Reader (Reader is 26 and Sevika is 32). Warnings: mentions to sex but no actual smut, capitalism 😔, some self-deprecating language. You've been warned.}
You were starting your second year at the university that you had transferred to in attempt to start you masters degree. Your subject of choice was politics, you chose it purley because it interested you. You really hadn’t thought beyond that. You had no idea what to do after college. If you were honest with yourself, you had no idea what your were going to do with your life. You were lost but you had the finnancial ability to go for a masters, so why not?
Your Professor that was supposed to be teaching you this year had been recently fired, came into work drunk or something like that. You rarley listened into the gossip mill, so you weren’t really sure. At 9:30 you walked into the lecture hall, curious to know who your next professor woud be. You took your seat four rows up. Close enough to hear every word that was said but not too close to look too eager. A good in-the-middle you thought. Once you had settled in and gotten all the the things you needed out your bag, notebook, pencil, the usual, one of the double doors swung open. Usually you wouldn’t look, you didn’t want to make awkward eye contact with the person who walked in, but this time you did look. The woman who walked in was strikingly tall, her hair was covering her face but once she got to her desk, she looked up briefly. God she was beautiful. Her eyes were what caught your attention the most, they were bright. Brighter then you’d ever seen. Those bright greys scanned lazily over the hall, however, they settled on you for slightly longer than the other students already in the hall. You couldn’t quite pick out why but you appreciated it none the less.
At 9:35, your new professor officially started the lecture. As soon as she started talking though, you immediately realised why her gaze lingered on you.
A couple nights ago you went out with your friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. The four of you pre-gamed at a dingy bar downtown, that’s when you saw her sitting at the bar making conversation with the bartender. You had been at the bar for about an hour but had to leave as said friend whose friend birthday it was, was already shitfaced and you all knew that she would be throwing up in no time, you told them to go on without you and they didn’t question it as you slid up next to the handsome woman sat by herself. The two of you started talking and of course, one thing led to another and you were soon being devoured in-between her sheets.
Once your mind returned to the room, you avoided her gaze. Your face burned hot. You could barley pay attention to the words she was saying without remembering what her tongue felt like on your body. Eventually though, you did manage to focus but that was only for the last 10 minutes of the lecture. You’d written a good three sentences from a 2 hour lecture, consisting of half of a debate on imperial presidency and a third of sentence on the functions of congress. Soon, the lecture had finished but before all the students left, the professor finally gave her name: Sevika Maji. She insisted that you all call her Sevika though. She wasn’t ‘that kind of teacher’ she said. God why was she so perfect?
Sevika was overall drop-dead gorgeous, beautiful body, beautiful face, apparrently great in bed, great personality, and now, as you just spent almost 2 hours ogling at her, Your interest only grows stronger. But, of course, you couldn’t have her. She was officially your professor now, if you were to ingage in any form of interaction that wasn’t explicitly academic, it would be breaking the rules. Your luck seemed to be taunting you. But your silver lining shining through all of this was that you did actually get to sleep with her -before your dreams came crashing down around you that is.
You quickly packed up your things, shoving everything in your bag. Students alike swarmed out the lecture hall doors, rushing to their shared apartments, rushing to get dunk/high even though it was only 11:35, or maybe they were rushing to get to their part-time job. You, unfortunatley, were the latter. One of your friends managed to get you a gig at a small coffee shop in town, although it was a dreamy place to work, nice atmosphere and cute aesthetics, you were garunteed to get verbally abused atleast once during your shifts, but hey capitalism! You had to. You made your way down the stairs that was lined on either side of the bundle of seats to join the herd of people. Sevika was leaning against her desk, which only reached her mid thigh, as she was talking to a student about god knows what. It was the first day, what could they possibly be asking. As you were watching, Sevika’s eyes flick up to you. Your breath caught in your throat but you smiled meekly and looked away again. Your cheeks flushed with warmth. As you exited the room, you internally kicked yourself. Grown ass adult acting like a teenager, get it together you thought.
It was about four hours into your shift at work before you started to grow incredibly bored. Serving one customer after another became monotonous. People asking for their drinks ‘extra hot’ was starting to get on your nerves. Your little cute coffee shop quickly became your own personal torture. Only three hours left. Three long…long hours. Great.
six hours into your shift, you’re convinced you’re going to go insane. What did ‘extra hot’ even mean? Extra? Did they want to burn their esophagus? Stupid. Your internal rambling was soon interupted by the swing of the bell above the door. You put on your best customer service smile and was ready to greet the person who came in. All of the sudden, you got a wave of deja vu. You’re watching this beautiful woman walk in, hair covering her face, just like when you were sitting in the lecture hall. She looked up when she fulled entered the room. She looked over to where you were standing. The both of you started at eachother breifly. Whilst you two are staring, you catch the slightlest bit of awkwardnes from Sevika’s eyes. So she does feel the same weird atmosphere that has nestled itself in-between the two of you. She walks over to the where your standing behind the cash register, her face has relaxed now into a more casual demeanour. She was hiding her feelings much better than you as you still had a deer-in-headlights look on your face. “Americano, please.” she spoke before your brain could catch up, but once the words hit your brain, you were already working the espresso machine. Your set her drink down and rung her up.
“that’ll be $2.71” you stated as you pressed on the screen and faced the card machine in her direction.
“thank you” she smiled and payed before grabbing her drink.
You smiled back, you cheeks were starting to hurt now. When she turned to walk away, you were suddenly reminded of the notes you needed for class.
“wait! Professor!” you called to her just as she was about to leave, she turned around and chuckled at the way you adressed her like you were still in highschool. “I’m sorry is there anyway you could email me the notes for todays class?” you asked bashfully knowing you’d probably get some shit for slacking off. Sevika furrowed her brows.
“You were in class, no?” she stated like you were stupid but her voice made up for it. The velvety tone of it made your heart race.
“uhm..yes but I wasn’t really paying attention. I’m sorry, it won’t happen again” you were practically begging for her forgiveness. Partly because you didn’t want to dissapoint her, but also because your ego wouldn’t allow you to fail, you needed those notes. She sighed.
“how much do you need?” she asked whilst walking back towards you, getting out her phone. You swallowed harshly.
“I- uhm…all of it” you spoke sheepishly. You looked up at her and she looked at you blankly. She then closed her eyes and sighed deeply.
“Fine, give me your email.” she spoke as if the whole ordeal was a huge inconvenience, which in all fairness, it was. You smiled widly.
You gave her your email and she typed it into her phone, then she was on her way. Again. You let out a sigh of relief as the anxiety of missing majority of the class had dissapeared. However, your serene bubble of calm was quickly broken as the bell on the door reminded you that you were still at work. You signed once more, this time out of annoyance, and got back to work.
After the remaining three hours of your shift ended, you were finally free. You couldn’t leave the building quick enough. Grabbing all your stuff from the back and then practically sprinting out the shop. You got the bus home, sitting down on the concerningly sticky seats as music blasts through your headphones. The tension that accumulated across your shoulders and down your spine throughout the day, started to ease. You gazed out the window as you continued your journey.
Once you arrived to you apartment, you dropped everything at the door. Your body moved sluggishly towards the couch which you then threw yourself onto. You let out a huge sigh and the remaining tension that inisisted on lingering finally disapeared from you. Your spine decompressed and you smothered your head into the couch cushions. After about 20 minutes of being sprawled out on the couch doing nothing, you started to crave some cheap noodles. So, you got up off the couch and walked over to your kitchen. You grabbed some buldak ramen out of your cupboards. Pulled back the film on top, added the provided seasoning and then filled it with boiled water. As you waited for your food, your phone vibrated. Curious to know what the notification was, you picked up your phone and saw an email from none other than Sevika herself. It was only when you opened the email did you realised that she wasn’t using her college given email, it was her personal one. Her email had a powerpoint attached as well as text. <“stop slacking off”>. such a simple sentence yet it set your senses ablaze. You smiled to yourself and composed an email to respond. No harm in it, especially considering it was her personal email.
<”thank you!! again, im so sorry!!! wont happen again. I promise :)”>
You set your phone down and retrieved your now cooked noodles off the kitchen counter. As you devouring your noodles and scrolling aimlessly on your phone, your phone vibrated again. Your eyes flicked up to the notification. It was from Sevika. Another email. Except this time there was a photo attached. That’s all you could see from the notification, so you opened it. There was text from her saying:
<”you left your jacket here by the way. Do you want it back?”>
The photo that was attached was her holding your leather jacket. Your brain short-circuited. So she wasn’t ignoring the fact that the two of you had sex, how can she so non-chalant about this? You shook off your thoughts and promptly replied. Although you had to delete it many times before you wrote something that was somewhat coherent.
<”oh sorry, yes I’d like that back thank you. Didn’t even realise it was missing.”>
You bit your lip in anticipation.
<”it’s fine. Stay after class tomorrow. I’ll give it to you then.”>
Your class with her was last thing before all classes ended in the college. You’ll be alone. The thought made your stomach flip, but before your mind could fantasise, logic quicly swooped in a reminded you that she was now your teacher. You couldn’t do anything to her even if you wanted. Plus, there are security cameras in the lecture hall, you could get caught and she could loose her job. God fucking damn it. You sighed and responded one last time.
<”okay great thank you ❤️”>
Shit. What was that. Did you just add a heart at the end on your sentence!? shit, delete it! Before you could, she responded.
<”👍”>
God there was no point in deleting it know, she’d already seen it. You groaned at your own stupidity. “Great, now I look like an obsessive freak…” you spoke to yourself under your breathe. You sighed, knowing there’s nothing you could do about it now. So, you got up and tossed the cardboard pot into the bin. You walked to your bedroom, turned on the lights and proceeded to get ready for bed. One your were satisfied, you sunk into the sheets of your bed. Internally cursing yourself for potentially freaking out Sevika. However, thinking of Sevika made your entire body relax. You knew you were screwed. And with that, you fell asleep. Ready to embarrass yourself all over again tomorrow.
Do you think you can do an Ambessa x reader only fluff? I haven’t seen lots of Ambessa fanfics so I was wondering if you could do one?
Ambessa Medarda x Reader
Synopsis: {You’ve spent all day sculpting, Ambessa takes it in her own hands to force you to take a break}
Of course, thank you for requesting! Enjoy my lovelies 💕
Rays of orangey light spill into your work room, bouncing off of the tiny crystallised droplets of the chandelier that hung above you, the tall walls now covered in intricate little patterns and shapes as a cause of this— dusting across your face as you continue to mould the clay beneath your fingertips.
You hadn’t recognised how late it was, the sun now bowing for the moon as the early evening approaches. Time often slipped through your fingers, something Ambessa picked up on quite early— even before the pair of you became one in union, whispering oaths of love and protection.
That’s why she abandons her own work to walk through the halls, approaching the space you’ve been huddled up in all day.
She leans her strong body up against the doorway, watching you with a tenderness in her eyes and a smirk ghosting against her lips. The way your fingers worked with practised ease against the wet clay, smoothing it over and pinching it where needed— preferring your hands over tools because it ‘added personality’ it was all so mesmerising, she could watch you all day without getting bored.
“My sweet wife, give your back a break.” Ambessa’s voice, strong and firm yet draped with affection jolts you out of your little hypnotised state causing you to gasp ever so softly.
“Oh… you startled me, did you knock?” You sigh exasperatedly, glancing over at her as she draws closer to you with an amused glint in her eyes.
“I did… several times in fact.” Her comment makes you roll your eyes because you couldn’t point her out on the lie even if you wanted to you were so distracted.
You take the time to roll your shoulders, and only then does the ache in the back of your neck become painfully apparent. A small groan escapes your lips as you press your fingertips into the nape of your neck, coated in dry clay that cracks along your skin.
Ambessa gently brushes your dirty hand away, replacing it with her battle-worn ones as she massages the aches and pains away. Her hands were surprisingly soft—a few scars and callouses here and there, but overall soft. The woman knew how to take care of herself and you.
“So tense, breathe, my sweet.” She orders softly, letting her thumbs drag along your neck and over your shoulder blades as the tension ebbs away beneath her tender yet firm touch.
“I hadn’t noticed— hmm,” you don’t get to even finish the thought let alone the sentence as she finds a certain spot that has you melting like butter into her, your head resting just underneath her chest.
“Right there?” You could practically hear the smirk that was plastered across her lips you didn’t have to open your eyes and look up at her.
“Mhm, yes.” You breathe the reply, feeling a sense of relief wash over you— perhaps all those times she had spent in the hands of her most trusted masseuses paid off, clearly she had learned a thing or two.
Ambessa admires the way your beautiful features soften as you lean further backwards against her, how the setting sun kisses at your skin with its honeyed light—painting you in this otherworldly glow— a goddess, she’s certain of it.
“Such a pretty thing, look at you.” Her voice is so tender, something only reserved for you as she cups the side of your face and brushes her thumb over your cheek, relishing in the way you lean further into her palm and the hum of delight you let out.
This was her favourite part of her days, getting you to relax— to take care of you and gods does she do an amazing job at it.
She moves to sit down on the cushioned chair next to you, holding your clay-covered hands in her own— so small compared to hers. You watch her as she grabs the ceramic bowl, letting her guide your hands in the warm water to soak them.
“Where will you put this one?” Ambessa asks, nodding to your sculpture, rubbing her thumbs across the palms of your hands to wash away the dried clay, effectively turning the once clear water all milky.
“I’m not sure, it might not see the light of day with the way it currently looks.” You huff, looking down at the bowl as she continues to clean you up before drying them off with a soft cotton towel.
You were always so picky when it came to your sculptures, oh poor Ambessa had been on the receiving end of your mini rants whenever a project didn't look exactly how you pictured it to be in your mind more than once, it was her that had to teach you patience.
“Mm, you can’t rush perfection.” She smirks, leaning over the table to pluck up your wedding ring that sat on a small velvet cushion whilst you worked away— you didn’t dare to dirty it with the clay you worked with, it was far too precious.
You hum in agreement with her words as she slips the ring onto your finger, the action warmly intimate that you can't help but smile up at her all bashfully. She brings your hand up to her mouth to press a kiss over the beautiful gem that glistens underneath the light— then over each of your knuckles.
Then she’s leaning forward, holding your chin between her thumb and forefinger to tilt your head slightly, pressing a kiss to your hairline then another to your cheek, letting her lips trail across your jaw—the heavenly smell of rose and frankincense clings to your hair and skin, she just wants to drown in you.
“Come, relax with me for a while before dinner is served.” She whispers, brushing her nose along your jaw. “Let me smooth out all your aches, hm?”
You nod without a single ounce of hesitation, immediately ready to follow her into the lounge room where you know the fireplace is already lit and a bottle of rich wine is waiting for you— your favourite because she knew exactly what her girl liked. There she would run her hands over your sore body in between loving kisses all while showering you in sweet nothings whispered into your warm skin.

on that day, you and your girlfriend ambessa would be celebrating your two-year anniversary.
you met at a city event commemorating children’s day, where mel, her daughter who was only four years old at the time, begged to go, since the event would feature some women doing colorful face painting for the children, according to what she overheard the adults saying.
coincidentally, you were one of the women working there.
as soon as she saw you at your booth, waving goodbye to the last child you painted, mel excitedly pulled ambessa by the hand over to you.
honestly, ambessa wasn’t at all keen on leaving the house that saturday, but she went for her little girl. and then, seeing you being so kind and attentive not only to her daughter, but to her as well? she discovered that she was actually very grateful that mel had asked to go.
you started dating three months later, and mel got used to you surprisingly quickly.
it was a surprise to ambessa, since despite her confident and unashamed attitude — obviously inherited from her —, mel didn’t easily adapt to new adults.
you two attributed it to the fact that ambessa seemed open and comfortable with you right away, so the little one felt confident and safe doing the same.
she called you ‘auntie’ or ‘mama’s girlfriend’, and it was enough to make you melt every time.
꒰ঌ ⋆˚❀˖° ໒꒱
it was around 11:15AM when mel, now six years old, was waiting for one of you to pick her up from kindergarten.
she was sitting at one of the small wooden tables in the schoolyard, chatting with her four little friends.
“ughh, mommy’s takin’ forever!” one of the girls complained, looking at the pink plastic watch on her wrist, pretending to check the time.
“i’m hungry…” the little girl’s sister said, laying her head on the table. “and daddy isn’t even home, so mommy still need to make lunch all by herself…”
mel looked up from her coloring book to them, staring at her friends with slightly wide eyes.
then, remembering what awaited her at home, she puffed out her chest a little and arched her eyebrows as she closed her coloring book.
“well, i don’t need to worry about that.”
“huh? but you don’t even got a daddy! your mom still got to cook too.” another girl replied, frowning in confusion.
“no. 'cause now, i have two moms.”
“WHAT?!”
the four girls asked at the same time, one of them leaning on the table to lean towards mel, who remained with a victorious and satisfied smile on her face.
“mhm!”
“that’s like... super cool!” the last girl said, looking at the blue sky.
“it is.”
“they both make your lunch?”
“yes.”
“can you use both of their makeup and clothes to play?”
“i can.”
“does your other mom ever forget your birthday?”
“never.”
“don’t you have to ask her to put the toilet seat down and clean the pee on it?”
“ew, no!”
“wooooow!” the four of them said in unison, their little eyes shining with admiration.
“i wish i had two mommies…” one said, resting her face in her hand with a pout.
“do you think if i ask my mom if i can have another mom, she’ll say yes?” one of them asked mel expectantly.
“hmmm, maybe. you should try!”
“but i love my daddy… i just wish he would stop peein’ on the toilet seat!”
their conversation was interrupted by the sound of a car horn, which caught the attention of all five, especially mel, who recognized it immediately.
she turned around just to confirm, and smiled excitedly when she saw ambessa in sunglasses waving to her from inside the car.
mel quickly put away her crayons, put her backpack on her back and her coloring book under her arm, and then stood up.
“bye! someday i’ll take you to meet my other mama.”
the four shouted in unison, “bye, mel!”, and then the little girl ran off to go around the yard and ask the doorman to let her through.
꒰ঌ ⋆˚❀˖° ໒꒱
as soon as they two arrived home, mel was still chattering about her day at kindergarten, telling ambessa how the class’s pet frog escaped from its aquarium and jumped onto a boy’s table.
you were in the kitchen, taking the napkin off your shoulder and turning off the stove since the food was all ready.
you walked to the living room and smiled when you saw them in the doorway; ambessa locking the door and mel taking off her little shoes.
as soon as she saw you, mel smiled broadly and dropped her backpack on the floor, running to hug you.
you crouched down and picked her up, returning the tight hug.
“hey, honey. how was today?”
“it was great! we read cool books, and our class’s frog escaped! and my friends were so jealous of me because i have something super cool that they don’t have!”
“mel…”
ambessa called out in a slightly reproachful tone, approaching you two with a raised eyebrow and her backpack in hand.
“what?! they really don’t have, and they can’t have!”
“right, and what would be this amazing thing they can’t have, young lady?”
ambessa asked, setting her backpack down on the sofa beside her and crossing her strong arms. despite her serious pose and the tone that clearly warned she was about to be reprimanded, there was a ghost of a small smile on her red lips.
you looked at mel curiously, your head slightly tilted to the side as you waited to find out what it was.
“i have two mamas!”
you both paused for a moment, the initial shock of her innocent and genuine phrase hitting you out of nowhere.
and she continued, oblivious to your surprised faces.
“my friends need to wait for the food to be ready, and their dads sometimes forget their birthdays—oh! and one of them need to tell him to put the toilet seat down…”
she whispered the last part, frowning in a grimace of disgust and disbelief.
“but you two are so much more nice, and more caring, and more fun. it’s so much better having two moms.”
mel finished with a proud, ear-to-ear smile, alternating her gaze between the two of you.
ambessa looked at her daughter with slightly widened eyes. her serious posture from a few seconds ago was undone, her crossed arms almost loose, and her shoulders slumped.
she looked at you, and her initial shock was broken by the fact that she had to hold back a laugh.
you looked at mel with eyebrows curved downwards, teary eyes, and lips pressed together to stop the tears from escaping.
throughout all this time, you never really talked about what you would be to mel, what you would represent.
you two decided to let time and the girl herself decide, without forcing anything.
of course, there were enlightening conversations between mel and ambessa, where the woman explained a lot about how often she would see you, questions about how she felt about it, and so on. and now, it seemed that mel had decided. she saw you as another mother, another anchor she could hold onto, another strong and important woman she could count on and be loved by.
you felt your heart about to explode.
“moms? what’s wrong?”
mel asked, frowning in confusion at the silence.
you quickly tried to compose yourself, clearing your throat and running your hands over your face to try to hold back the tears.
“nothing, my love,” ambessa answered. “are you hungry?”
“yes!”
mel ran to the kitchen, still completely oblivious to the sentimental weight she left in the living room, now focused only on eating whatever was ready.
with you two alone, ambessa approached you at the same time you stood up.
you sniffed and looked at her, meeting her tender eyes and a closed, affectionate smile on her face. she arched both eyebrows, and you chuckled softly, feeling the euphoria and love bubbling in your chest.
ambessa pulled you into a hug that you accepted without hesitation, holding her tightly as she stroked your back.
“happy anniversary,” she said.
“happy anniversary… i love you, bessa. i love you both,” you whispered.
“we love you too, darling,” she said, placing a kiss on your head.

I can’t stop thinking about you. Every day, every damn moment, your absence hits me harder than any fight I’ve ever been in. Leaving you when everything was falling apart, when it should have been us together, felt like betrayal. I know that. I can feel it in the hollow in my chest. But I did it for you, for your safety. I chose the only way I thought I could keep you alive, and even if it tore me apart to walk away, I’d do it again a thousand times if it meant keeping you safe.
I keep replaying every memory we’ve made—your laugh echoing in our little corner, the way your hand fits perfectly in mine, the nights we spent talking until the world was quiet and it felt like it was just us. I miss those moments more than I can put into words. I miss you. Every part of you.
Don’t ever doubt that I’m fighting with you in mind, every single day. I do this because I want us to have a city where we can finally live together freely. A place where we can breathe without looking over our shoulders. A place where we can build the family we’ve always dreamed of, where love isn’t a risk but the very air we breathe. That’s what I’m working toward—us. Always us.
I know it’s hard to wait. I know it feels like I left you in the middle of the storm. But hold onto this: everything I do, every decision I make, is for the life I want us to have. One day soon, we won’t have to fight just to survive. One day, we’ll fight only for each other. I carry you with me in every step, in every battle, in every quiet second. You are my anchor, my fire, my reason.
So please, remember me in the way I remember you: always, fiercely, without end. I’ll be back in your arms before you even know it. Until then, hold tight to the thought that we are building something bigger than ourselves. Something permanent. Something real.
I miss you more than anything. And I love you. Always have, always will.
