Also I think i am coming around to the plot line A LITTLE, but there is much of season 8 so i can still be easily disappointed. I think because they are being confronted with the fact that they're running away and not getting off without consequences is helping. Its just that they're the CHARMED ONES, they save people, they help people, they may bitch about it sometimes and they have the whole reluctant hero thing going on but helping people is part of who they are and they feel empty without it. I think in order to nail the arc they would need to realize that and try to find a balance that isn't running away from all of their problems a la faking their death.

Ultimately it depends on how the writers resolve it.

#i am definitely jumping the gun but i am not digging the hiding their identities thing #i cant wrap my head around it #okay okay conceptually i can get how faking their deaths would be something they'd do if they were in a tight spot #and if they wanted a break #but stillllll its weird #like it does seem like something they could be driven to do but the way it was written was weird #but especially paige was the most into being a witch and saving people #(although she does admit that they didnt think it through so thats something)#idk like i guess ultimately i do see it realistically as something they could do but it also feels weird???#idk we'll see how things go but ive also heard that season 8 isnt the greatest so im not too optimistic XD #i say weird a lot but you know thats WHAT IT IS
