Realizing that plural experiences are mundane and common helped me a lot in accepting it. If like 1-3% of the US population or whatever have DID, and likely more have OSDD-1, and if you add in all the subclinical and endogenic systems, and other dissociative experiences, that's a lot of people who experience a multiplicity of being. Not all of them see themselves as multiple people though, and that's the point! There are many ways to interpret subjective experiences, and plurality is just one framework.
Plurality is ordinary. Multiplicity is commonplace. Systems are everywhere. There's nothing wrong with using a framework that helps you, or deciding that it isn't a useful framework for you.

I cant wait until we reach our limit, have a horrible mental breakdown/episode, maybe do something drastic, probably get thrown into a ward and ruin our entire life because no one believes how bad we are
We got into a screaming match with our mother, she said a variety of hurtful things and put further stress on hs about things that we either 1) dont have control over or 2) or are really trying to fix. We cried so hard during the whole thing that our head was killing us and by the end of it we felt nauses. Our head still hurts even after a 3 or so hour nap.
She apologized but it means nothing, its an endless cycle that will keep repeating if we stay with her because she refuses to even try to get help under the security blanket of excuses such as financial problems and lacking time. She has yet to ask if we meant anything of what we said in the car, both i and most of the others dont plan on lying so i suppose shes depending on whos fronting from getting her feelings hurt (boo hoo).
We are tired and we are scared. It feels like no one is truly on our side and those who are simply arent capable of helping.
