Great Blue Heron

I was put on by Atun Shei Films' videos on it, his analysis of the themes at play in ravenous was so interesting that he made me drop everything and watch the movie, bc it was so compelling to hear about this Films' Anti-Colonialist, pro vegan themes. That I had to see it for myself.

I was not disappointed in the slightest, ok well maybe the fact that Jeffery Jones is in it was a little disappointing but to be fair the stuff about him came out a few years after Ravenous was released.

But as for the film itself yeah it was just as effective as a piece of storytelling as Atun Shei Said it was. And Antonia Bird was one hell of a director..

LOL of COURSE Commander Lemon alphabetised the ENTIRE CREW I need her to marry me like yesterday And that business with the door colours is a neat little tidbit that I wanted to add in because of how I've been colouring the doors on the ship. (Also. Speaking of colours. Let me tell you. It. Kinda hurt not putting a 'u' in 'colour' when Sylvia said it. But she has an American accent, and I needed to express it somehow haha)

Wow! Okay! So there might be a fugitive aboard the Wordsworth?? Well... there was that shadowy figure that hit Harger on the back of the head back on Ch1 Pg 21... Could that be the fugitive??? 👀 Interesting that Ambassador Poirot seems not to know anything about that....

Also. I love Sylvia's little blink-and-you'd-miss-it backhanded compliment about Lt. Shakhban's Chess-Playing abilities. What a nice way to say he SUCKS at it hahaha She is. Very Southern American^TM

Sylvia's never met a Klingon in her whole life... but she sure seems convinced that there's Klingons following them... I wonder.... if that's true....... 👀 👀 👀
