1) So I think the part was during a big climactic fight- the fmc and some guy she kept calling a God were fighting by a cliff, and there were like, a fleet of ships on her side firing at the guy.

2) The god guy was inhabiting the body of someone else I think, the fmc lied about meeting a guy in the underworld named I think Alton?

3)The fmc kept refering to her fire powers as a pheonix? Like the pheonix was an actual deity talking to her/giving her powers and she maybe said something about meeting them at an alter and they burned a town down?

4) There was a lady they set up as a big bad that could like.... force people to do stuff? She almost made the fmc take a piece of glass or like a knife and cut her wrist I think?

5) The fmc expressed the immediate desire to gouge that lady's eyes out and like... get the goop to run down her arms onto the lady's face? I think she might have gotten an eye at one point.

6) I think there might have been a mythological aspect to it? There was a guy who it sounded like he could control water (very poorly) and they had to either knock him out or get him high on Opium so he didn't kill anyone- I think they were calling him (and bear with me I'm writing it phonetically) Neh Zah? I forgot how to spell it but China recently-ish released an animated movie about him

7) There was a moment that I heard with the fmc and the guy above where she was getting him to smoke the Opium rocks or whatever and uhhh at one point he said he didn't want any more but the fmc made him smoke more (like- held him over the fumes) because his powers weren't in control yet?

8) He was kinda crumpled behind the fmc while she was fighting the other lady

9) So back to the evil lady- she made the fmc see (like, projected to her mind) that the empire the fmc was fighting for like, burned down the evil lady's village and like, her and 2 other people survived and they started doing stuff together?

10) Also the evil lady is the one who put the god in the other guy's body

11) I think the author went by their first initial instead of their full first name? There might have been 2 initials before their surname.
