I know this has been said before but I need to say it myself too: the worst part of Ms Marvel being in the X-Men is that she's literally only there to make the franchise more palatable to new readers. Because we all know damn well, with at least 20 characters to prove, that if she had debuted in the comics as a mutant in an x-book she wouldn't be ANYWHERE as the popular juggernaut for marvel that she is now. She would be just another teen mutant given a single run and then completely forgotten about. It is the fact that these teen mutant characters need to go over to the avengers side of marvel to finally get some proper recognition that we should be debating and asking ourselves why is the X-Office so scared of legacies and chance *specially* when it comes to characters of color.
