I don’t regret any of it. Because even though I think about you on your birthday I wonder if you think about me on mine, we still exist in that little frame of time, & I find comfort in that. The chapter may have ended, but that doesn’t mean I don’t often revisit it just to remember how it felt to be happy with you.
