I've been getting game bundles and such for the past decade plus and there's often games in them that I either already own or have no interest in, and I figured I'd offer them to whoever wants. Just send me a message telling me what you want and I'll send you the code(s).
The ones sorted by date expire on those dates. Italicized titles are ones I'd personally recommend.
No need to be a mutual or even following me, and you can ask for as many of them as you want, I'd just love if some of these got used since they'd go to waste otherwise and I technically paid for them. Feel free to share this around, as well.

Man I know that elder scrolls is a stupid series and all that but I really think they did concepts like orcs and dark elves mostly correct. More correct than a lot of franchises I’ve seen anyways.
I think dnd took until like this year to properly update drow and orcs or something? Like fantasy as a whole has a hard time shaking off this idea of evil races.
The elder scrolls approach to these guys from the beginning though has been that their cultures are just really different from the other cultures around them.
Like you can hang out in orc strongholds in Skyrim and spend the whole game around dark elves in Morrowind and they’re just regular people that have kind of extreme cultural norms. Dark elves are kind of rude to you when they first meet you but like in the way certain cultures are rude to outsiders at first until they get to know them. Orcs are rough around the edges but they’re smart and have a proud culture and if you can hold your own in a fight they’ll respect you.
And you see these people can blend pretty well into other societies. They join faiths their ancestors didn’t practice, they have jobs that people of their race wouldn’t stereotypically have, they have opinions about what other people assume about them, they have their own wrong assumptions about other cultures.
There’s this understanding somewhere in these games that people are shaped by their cultures but you also can’t predict how an individual will behave based on the culture that they came from. And I like that.

he wrote NELL VANCE as a STRAIGHT WOMAN and made VANCE her MARRIED NAME❗️i don’t care how canon lesbian he made theo that is the worst adaptational change of all time
#also every time I rewatch part of the show im reminded that I reallyyyyy dont think Agatha ever called her 'Rio' in their relationship#thats not a headcanon I use in my writing (I tend to go with 'Agatha named her at some point') but like#the one time she says rio's name in the show it sounds like she's never said it before in her life and its almost mocking#honestly multi century divorcemarriage with an entity you only refer to as Death would be a slay (@yeah-it-showed)
EXACT same thoughts every time I've seen that scene, vibrating out of my body to see these tags. I have feelings about the idea that Rio named herself Rio for the show and the show only, and that only she and Agatha know it. That Rio gave herself the cutesy THE Green Witch name "River of Life" and Agatha is rolling her eyes extremely hard about it in the privacy of her mind. That despite everything, Agatha remains the keeper of many of Rio's secrets and mysteries, including her name... and if she even has one.

i’m going to be really honest with you guys i think the tendency to read the absolute worst possible intentions into every action you don’t agree with is getting too automatic and it’s eating you from the inside out
i think a lot of people heard about chekov's gun and thought it only applied to like. actual guns. and that it wasn't meant to be extended to literally every element a writer puts in a story
chekov's gun is supposed to be about how no superfluous elements should exist in a work at all. there shouldn't be anything there that doesn't serve a purpose. on its face, it's a directive aimed at writers. but the inverse of that, for us the audience, is that if something is in a story, we can generally assume that it wasn't put there on accident. we can assume that it serves a purpose. even if it seems random and pointless at first, we have to assign it meaning, because otherwise it wouldn't be there. that random piece of characterization? the author must have considered it vital, or it wouldn't be there. the way the camera lingered on a specific thing? you can be sure it's important. the way characters dress, their backgrounds, their habits, it all says something about who they are and how the author intends you to see them. it's the basis of media analysis: why does this element exist? what's its purpose? why was it put there? people always say i'm great at media analysis, but this is really all i do. you recognize the elements, and figure out what purpose they serve.
The thing about movies directed by a famous older white guy starring a famous older white guy is you don't have to go see them. This is relevant every year.
