I don’t understand sons of the harpy the gold cloaks subplot. The attacking of Corlys and his men in the end? They will say this was genius foreshadowing, but I call it lazy inconsistent writing.

Baela and Alyn? They had ONE conversation and zero chemistry. And Jace has been dead for like a month. That kiss came out of nowhere and was completely unnecessary.

Alys and Aemond-mother-of-dragons? Could lead somewhere, but they DON’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS.

Rhaena being commanded to sit in her cave till the end of times? What is the plan here, Lady Jayne?

Hugh’s wife? Ok whatever, yet again, NO TIME FOR THIS SNOT.

And the cherry on top—Alicent being sent to Harrenhal with a holy mission. What the hell. One, this would never work, even an idiot understands it. Two, this is a sloppy way of getting her out of King’s Landing on Rhaenyra’s promise to look after Helaena when we all know what is likely to happen and how it will influence Alicent’s further plotline.

Cole’s death should have been left for the end of the last episode.
