Uh so… I have fallen head-over-heels in love with The Exorcist this past week and I really need it to not be cancelled. I am especially looking at you my fellow Fannibals!! We know what it’s like to lose a show before its time, and I think all of you would LOVE this show!!!

Following Westerosi rules of succession, the one who kills the king gets to be the next king:

Robert killed Rhaegar and became king, so the Targaryens have no claim to the throne anymore

Robert died with no legitimate heir, so his next of keen inherited the throne, and for how much I despise him I have to recognise it’s Stannis

Cersei can’t be considered Robert’s next of keen since she cheated on her husband, who also happened to be the king, thus being executed for treachery following the law

All Stannis’ relatives died at his hands (both Renly and Shireen)

Brienne killed Stannis in the name of King Renly, who was already dead at the time

And then Mark’s just like HEYYYYY!
