it's honestly one of the most mysterious things in dai and i still don't understand it. i know some have said that it might have been solas, but i don't think so. number one, solas is still alive. number two, he never has any links to a draconic form unlike the other elven gods. he only ever seems to have the huge wolf/pride demon form.. it does have wings in the tevinter nights story, but iirc it's made of spirits and they're not literal wings

anyway who tf was this person? why did mythal kill them for doing something another elven god told them to do? my theory is that they were fucking around (maybe one of ghil's scientists?) and accidentally figured out that having a dragon/archdemon thrall was the key to the evanuris' immortality... idk how powerful ghil was at this point, but it might have been that they discovered it, took wings at ghil's urging so she could see what happened when another child of the earth (natural born elf/not spiritborn like her ig) and then she threw them under the bus when it came to the consequences. and mythal killed them because she couldn't have the general population figuring out how to become "gods"
