If the conversation doesn't pertain to your experiences in a space then you don't need to say anything at all and I'm not going to screencap every instance of annoyance as proof for you, and it's easy enough to look it up yourself.

You don't have to engage with every post you see. I see posts every day that have little to do with my experience that I have no context for that I don't engage with because I have both nothing of value to say and I don't want to act on ignorance.

...and no, this isn't based on vibes. There are AO3 skins now that can detect code from Claude (and that's just one AI. Who knows about others.)

Stop using AI to write fanfic. If you need advice on dialogue or what have you, go back to the way things were and get a beta.

That AI was trained on legitimate works by real people who put time and effort into entertaining you for free! FOR FREE!

Even if it's just a snippet, that snippet was stolen from legitimate works. I'd rather read something less polished that rarely updates than AI.

Plus, it degrades authentically written works as fans begin to question everything they read. It really discourages me from reading anything.

Fanfics are used as a form of escapism, and that includes not being inundated with AI content that is largely being pushed by capitalists.

It’s almost always a case of those people marrying into conservative families. They didn’t grow up around it, so they don’t understand that they can’t just agree to disagree with their spouse or their family. Being a child in a conservative household is a kind of torture that we didn’t choose, but these people sign up for it and not only that start falling into right wing conspiracy theories and religious psychosis.

It’s fucking sad, but it’s hard for me to feel bad for them. I have more sympathy for ignorant children who become questioning adults than those who decided after decades of being educated in a so called progressive home that actually civil rights don’t matter and that we need to oppress people to protect white supremacy I mean protect the children.
