one short damn fuse

I don’t know if this is how other people feel throwing up, but for me it feels like I am choking to death. Yes, I have survived several incidents of intense nausea. I had norovirus last year and I couldn’t stop throwing up for several days. I also have acid reflux disease and intestinal malrotation and positional vertigo and eustachian tube dysfunction, so I’m very used to nausea.

However, I still have a panic attack every time I actually feel like I’m going to throw up which isn’t great when you have to. To be fair, if I have extreme stomach pain and I also feel like I’m going to throw up that could indicate my intestines have twisted and in that case I am actually dying and it’s a medical emergency… but the process of throwing up actually makes me feel like I’m suffocating to death.

When fandoms leave the niche sphere where reasonable discourse can be conducted to become massive, appealable to the mainstream spaces they reflect the most hideous and irredeemable aspects of human society. Why are you acting like Big HBO is running a scheme to inundate all media with gay people to mentally torture you specifically when you are regularly rewarded with Misogyny and Homophobia on literally every show airing right now? Like ???
