#literally my dilemma

I also may seem like a poser or bandwagoner because I don’t post about soccer a lot, but I’ve known about Erling Haaland for years now because I’ve also been studying Norwegian independently for years. He is honestly one of the most entertaining players to watch because 1) he doesn’t flop or dive every two seconds, 2) he statistically scores almost every time he has the ball, and 3) he is almost never offsides.

I don’t care if he knocks down other soccer players. I think he should be allowed to knock down every single player who tries to hold onto him during a match. He is 6’5. People shouldn’t try him if they don’t want to get hurt. One of my favorite ever goals he made was when he forced an Israeli player to score on themselves by pushing them into the net.

One thing I'll say for USA sports fans is that we love a good underdog, and now that all of the underdogs are out of the world cup it's hard to care about the final outcome.

We get bored easily when the same teams win over and over, and to many of us being "The GOAT" or any kind of MVP is a title that has to be earned and proven over and over.

Like... The only teams left are well known divers and floppers who have won the world cup before. Who we support depends on which team is the least annoying at playing the game at this point.
