Yeah, I took them down indefinitely. Bluntly put: when I write and edit my stories with the intent to share and interact with a fandom, I don't expect to constantly get this in return.
I was gaslit and harassed for trying to handle this privately earlier this year, and seeing how it's apparently still happening, I'm not wasting my time arguing, I'm just over it π€·πΎββοΈ
Sharing was fun, but I don't want my works stolen and used as this girl's personal story/scene prompts whenever she can't think of something herself. So yeah, for now I'm keeping my writing private.
Thank you to those sending me kind and encouraging messages. I just wanted to let you know I have seen them all and appreciate them more than you know π
It definitely sucks to receive this kind of blatant disregard and disrespect from other Black creatives on here, but Iβm a firm believer in protecting my work and my peace. So if you were here to lurk and watch, or donβt really care because you were only here to read then, idk? Showβs over, I guess?
This will go back to being an art sideblog, and there will be no more of my writing posted on this blog for the foreseeable future.
You know what? I've changed my mind.
Unfortunately, @/nahimjustfeelingit-writes looks to be intentionally doing this. Her behavior of purposefully mosaic/paraphrase-plagiarizing parts of my works will likely continue. And after a few eye-opening observations, my work will eventually go back up. This was just a reminder that some people are just not good people. They have issues of inadequacy that they will project onto you, and there's nothing you can do to help them; they have to help themselves.
