Main fandom tags are for everyone
If you don't care for another user's vibe or you really dislike a certain #shiptag, it is your responsibility to block the user and the tag.
You do not go into strangers' inboxes and bully, harass, or intimidate them about how they shouldn't be using the main fandom tag. That's toddler behavior. All of us, no matter what we ship, have a right to tag our posts and organize our blogs.
You are responsible for everything you see on Tumblr.
"Butbutbutbut this user doesn't tag their po—"
Block the user.
"This user ships something disgus—"
Block the user. And block the ship tag to remove the temptation to interact with it. Still interacting with things that upset you? Maybe it's time to talk to a parent or guardian about limiting your Internet access until you're mature enough to participate in online communities.
"Butbutbut I have to look at—"
No you don't. You literally don't. You are not a captive. Your eyelids are not held open. Tumblr gives you all the tools you need to prevent this. Use them.
"But I'm tired of crossovers showing up in my—"
Bock the crossover tags and filter for the offending fandom.
"But this person NEEDS to be run out of my fandom!"
Go wrap your anus around a saguaro cactus and sit there until you reach enlightenment.
