In Trench I'm not alone |-/

We know the story of the Lore so far, but how did it all begin? This fic explores that question and the idea that Clancy and Torchbearer (who will initially have the name Josh) first met as kids in Dema. This fic will fill in those early years as well as flesh out the ideas of and fill the gaps in the lore. We'll see their friendship grow and develop, see their first attempt at escape, and how the cycles all began, bringing us all the way through modern day lore. This fic will also serve to bring the lore to its final conclusion/cycle: the one where they finally win and break the cycle. It's going to be a long ride, but let's take our time and enjoy it. And so, we begin...

The next chapter is finally here after another long pause! Life got a little busy again plus I needed some time after the high emotional intensity of the previous chapter. But here we are! Torchbear, Clancy, and the Banditos are making their final plans and preparations at the camp! This is basically the first halfish of the Paladin Strait MV, too. Things are calm now as they gear up for the final battle at Dema. We're getting so close to the end! The final battle, climax, and outcome await!
