your mentally unstable tumblr mutual: the song “every little thing she does is magic” holds some sort of significance to trevor zegras for two main reasons. number one, he added it to the rooftop playlist on july 9, 2025. now for some context, this playlist had been untouched since 2023 until june 20, 2025 (likely around when he knew he’d get traded) he added a few songs, notably “go your own way” and “you get what you give”. but what’s significant about july 9 ELTSDIM addition is that is the date when the last roster update for shoulder check was dropped, which did not include jamie drysdale. then, on july 15, the full roster drops, which does include jamie, probably the biggest name that didn’t get a separate hype drop post. and along with knowing that jamie came to visit trevor in new york/ct that summer, one can theorize that july ninth was perhaps when jamie told trevor he would come over to visit. which would make sense why he seemed like a last minute addition to shoulder check since he decided he’d be there like the day of the last roster drop post (so not in time to get a separate one himself). so ok, maybe you could reach and say that the song addition to a significant shared with jamie playlist and the potential jamie visiting news are connected. kindof reach-y though. second, trevor adds ELTSDIM to his sheets playlist on february 15, 2026. context for the sheets playlist is it was created october 2023 allegedly the first season when him and jamie were not living together. it’s a lot of hype songs, rap songs, etc, and had not been touched since 2023 until this singular song addition that absolutely does not fit the vibe of the rest of this workout-hype-esque playlist. now february 15 is very much in the middle of the olympic break (which was 2/6-2/22) in which he spent the first week (around 2/9) crashing the habs trip and then was spotted on 2/15 at the prentiss gym aka back home. combined with the knowledge that the other cuffed flyers guys went on a tropical trip together (notably not jamie though) and hypothesis that jamie had a couples trip, the rpf implication i’ve drawn is that trevor was just chilling back home training alone perhaps driving back and forth from home to the gym with his sheets playlist on in the car and decides to add ELTSDIM because it’s become associated with jamie + prentiss. and maybe it doesn’t fit the vibe of this workout playlist but it was never really just a workout playlist it was a playlist made right after jamie stopped living with him but now they’re like kindof back together? so ELTSDIM is on both rooftop and sheets both times added when trevor was back home likely alone with a contextually significant jamie shaped question mark hanging around.
