In the realms of both the Capital and Parhelion, implants remain uncommon, not only due to the exorbitant costs but also the societal stigma attached to them. Implants are typically associated with the military, and militarism is highly condemned among earthlings. Those civilian who willingly amputate their limbs for the sake of artificial replacements are viewed at least strange.

For the affluent, should the need arise, more advanced prostheses are available, designed to mimic human limbs with remarkable realism. These cutting-edge models offer features such as nerve endings, sensitivity, and synthskin. Angeliz does not have access to such technologies. Basically, she is engaged in the selection of equipment, installation and repair.
