Her strategy is to act as if she's 100% on-board with whats happening, while still doing whatever she wants 🫠Clarifying questions are an act of weakness in Bodilleland, and weak bhaalists get killed! Fast!
This inevitably leads to her pissing others off, a lot, if they have more uhhh average ways of communicating. Like her going behind the party's back and killing Isobel in act 2, despite having implied she wouldn't. Or siding with Gortash right in front of Karlach, after having said aaaaall the right things to comfort her for over a year!
In a best/worst case scenario she will bat her lashes a little and get away with having things go her way, but she's just as prepared to dispose of a person over a little conflict 🙃 Sssoo
What is their favorite number?
I think it's zero? If only so that she gets to argue against people who would say it is not a number. But also, she's generally drawn to nothingness – the void after a life parts with its body, or the brief silence when the Urge is satiated (or otherwise goes quiet), or the general threat an Absence can create in a victim, or a partner, or in both at once!
What causes them to feel dread?
Nothing she would ever, ever admit – but she does dread thinking about her adoptive parents: whether they died because of the Urge, or because of something else, something deeply deeply wrong with her. Their death wasn't an accident, but it wasn't thought-through either, and she'd feel ashamed if it turned out to have been just chance (or inexperience!) and she'd feel (secretly) ashamed if it turned out that it was predetermined. If that makes sense?
Later on, I think she dreads her own death, but for another reason entirely, though kept just as close to her chest. There isn't a lot of room for hesitation when you're on top of that cult, for sure 🙃
