it means that i have, whether i like it or not, more important things to do than roleplay at the moment
it means that replies are going to sit for a moment
WHAT IT DOESN’T MEAN:
that i care any less
that i don’t want to talk / plot with you
that you aren’t allowed to IM me or ask for my disco
Sometimes Tumblr has to take a back burner, and that’s fine! Roleplay will still be here when we get back. So take that day to yourself. Don’t worry about drafts. Don’t worry about how “slow” you are being. Everything is okay!
|| The winner for the new character poll? Tie between Asa and Spann. So, adding on:
Spann from Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2: Danielle Harris
Asa Emory/The Collector from The Collector/The Collection: Raul Esparza
I did struggle with a faceclaim for Asa. Partially due to not finding one who fits his exact vibe and partially due to the fact that two VERY different actors play him. Ended up going with who I did because I felt he did fit the best. But I'm open to hearing ideas if anyone has them.

|| So, who wants to play around with some of my muses who are normally human as something else? James Hopper as a werewolf? Sally Hardesty as a vampire? Captain John Price as a resurrected soul, maybe demon? Of course, other muses are up for discussion as well.
Yes, shipping does need chemistry between the two muses, but if you look at my muse and think ‘You know what, I’d like to ship my muse with theirs!’, feel free to tell me, even before we start threads!
I love having a direction/goal to work the characters towards – when I write fiction on my own, I like having goals and plot points, like romances, family and friend relationships, rivals and enemies.. why wouldn’t I like having the same with RP? RP is just collaborative fiction writing!
There’s no shame in liking ships, or even RPing for ships. There’s tons of people in the world who love to read romance novels, and no one tries to tell them that’s wrong or worse than liking mysteries, or fantasy adventure. Neither preference is wrong, it’s just that – a preference!
So please – if you want to ship, or work towards of ship, in any capacity : romance, family, friends, rivals, and everything in between – TELL ME! I’d love to see what we can come up with together!

Molly was a deer caught in headlights at the ghoulish, nightmarish scene that finished playing out before her. She couldn't even remember moving or even breathing during the entire ordeal. Frank turned into this… this terrifying looking thing… that brutally attacked the poor human. Molly could only stand there and do nothing, as she was too much in shock.
A man died tonight, and she didn't even scream. A part of her should've done something, anything. Instead, she stood and watched in sheer horror, at the sickening display of life lost right before her eyes. And the worst thing of it all? She didn't feel any sorrow for the man's death.
Instead, a voracious hunger churned within her, that made her entire body tremble. The coppery smell of blood filled her nostrils once the shock of what she saw overtook her. Oh, god… It smelled so good. Fangs jutted from her pink lips, and she slapped a hand over her mouth, hoping Frank didn't see.
Finally, she took a step back, only to bump into a wall behind her. The fangs in her mouth cut the insides of her lower lip, and she tasted her own blood. Her throat burned with thirst, but she stubbornly refused to give in.
"Frank," Molly whispered fearfully. "Why did you...? You shouldn't have!"
Hardly a care in the world existed for the body that was now at his feet. Cleaning up? Not even a potential blip on the radar. Another benefit of the new existence he was experiencing. It didn't really matter where and how bodies were left behind. Attention was pinpointed onto the woman before him, not wanting to miss a single reaction from her. Abject horror? Yeah, that had been anticipated. Almost welcomed. A wide grin sat on his lips as she backed up and straight into the wall.
Brow quirked. There was something there. Something that she was trying to hide. Immediately, he crowded in on her, boxing her in against the wall. Mouth full of fangs was still present. Years of being a detective, of spotting little things, and knowing what details would either keep him alive to see the following day or end up with his head on a platter, created a sense that stuck with him. One that proved almost more useful now than it had then.
"And tell me why I shouldn't have? Tell me what worth this asshole had." Taunting. Tongue ran over his lower lip, savoring the lingering taste of copper and iron that was there. There was something in the look that Molly was sporting. Something beyond being upset or traumatized. Frank knew the look all too well. Yearning. Desire. Being so close to her allowed him the chance to catch the small, ever so slight scent that hung close to her. Her own blood. She hadn't been harmed so what he had thought he had seen was correct. "And maybe do it with your hand away from your mouth so I can understand you. It's not too polite to be talking with your hand there. Muffles things. Hides things."
A hand pressed to the wall beside her head, though there still was not a single part of him that was touching her. Not yet. Just enough space remained to keep true the claim of Frank not touching her.
"Come on, Molly. You can't hide things from me." Frank nearly growled, becoming far more serious. This was a little detail that he had missed before now and he didn't like the fact.

Ash chuckled, "Well you can't blame a guy for trying to lay it on a little thick huh?" he bit his lower lip, so this girl wasn't going to be easy to win over- though admittedly he wasnt really worried about whether or not she fell for his charm, there was even a little bit of pride that she seemed immune
What did that say about him?
"Nothing exciting sounds like what I'm looking for right down to a goddamn T." The young man raised his glass in her direction, "Till the Wheels fall off." and downed it. Nancy was hiding something, he knew that tone- he'd tried it when he first went home to Michigan, but eventually he hadn't been able to keep up the facade anymore.
"So what do you like to do in your free time?" Ash asked curiously as he asked for a refill, what was left of his missing hand suddenly aching; as if another drink would cure it. "Maybe you can show me around, huh?"
"I'll give you points for the effort. But yeah, little thick, little quick." She finished the beer that she had been nursing before deciding another wouldn't hurt anything. Nancy didn't pick up on the fact that he wasn't at all convinced by the comment about Springwood, or that he had some inclination that there was more to the small town than what met the eye. Sure, there had been a good cover-up, and so many people didn't believe that there was a demon haunting the dreams of the Elm Street kids. Or likely the kids of Springwood as a whole. The biggest part of the cover-up was the vigilante justice of a bunch of parents. Nancy hoped that they would get to a point where no one had to fear that name anymore.
She raised her next bottle, mirroring his action before taking a long pull. That sounded like someone who was running from something. She could spot the hints. She had some of the same coping mechanisms after all. Though she hadn't been able to run with it, she was forced to find better ways. There was so much therapy before her schooling. She motioned for the bartender to grab Ash another drink.
"Oh, nothing too exciting, really. I read a lot." Study. Work. Anything that could be done to give her an advantage should he come back again. While she hoped he was gone, she wasn't foolish enough to be comfortable in such a belief. All that was needed was a little power. "If you plan on staying for a bit, I don't see why not. I'll warn you. It won't be a long tour. But I can show you the best spots to eat. How long do you plan on staying? There aren't too many places to stay, but I could point you to a place to two as well." Was it a little foolish to make such offers to a strange man? Yeah, it probably was. But, Nancy almost felt compelled to see what else there was.
Ash let the flirtations fly- he wasn't going to be shameful about it. Keep that little bit of barrier between them, Then if she became a Kandarian she bitch then he wouldn't have an issue turning her into a piece of furniture.
Not that he exactly knew what that meant, but it sounded cool. The young man lifted the drink to his lips and glanced over at her. "Nancy, that was my second choice." The words left his lips without thought. "Would you believe me if I came all the way to this hellhole just to see you?"
A lie, of course, but a smooth one. while he was a wanderer- he'd heard rumors of something strange going on here. Not that he was about to unload on some poor girl. "Not been getting a lot of visitors sweetheart?"
"If I took a knock or two to the head, I might believe that," she offered in response, amusement dripping from the words and accompanied with a light laugh. He might have been trying to be smooth, but that one was just a little too pushed. A little too far-fetched. And Nancy knew better. She wasn't that silly, little, naive girl that she had once been. She had faced demons and came out the other side. Maybe not fully intact. Others would probably argue that fact. Not that Ash knew a single ounce of that. He didn't seem the journalist type.
"Things around Springwood stay pretty quiet." Not that Freddy was incapable of harming them, but his powers worked far better on those younger. So, Nancy wasn't exactly worried about the newcomer beside her. If it came to that? She could slip some hypnocil in his direction easily enough. Westin Hills was still working on a formula that could be properly distributed to the town. "Kind of out of the way and nothing much exciting to draw people here."
That wasn't to say that Nancy had a feel on everyone who came in and out of the town. Such knowledge would be helpful, but it was far from her capabilities. She wondered what it was about the man that had her curious.
