If you use AI on your book’s cover, people will assume that the inside was created at least in part by AI as well. You will lose readers for it.

Also, it is insulting both to artists, many of whom are perfectly willing to create cover art for considerably cheap or even free, and also to yourself.

Your writing is worth more than that. Your hard work is better than AI in every way shape or form. It may seem the easiest and quickest approach to completing and publishing your manuscript, but it is not worth it.

The easy route is not always the best one.

Please have some pride in your work. Support artists. Support yourself.

Weekly Writing Update #208 (June 29th, 2026)

Hullo. it has been a VERY BUSY week, lol. There was the Infinite Rumble on Monday into Tuesday, I had a family obligation on Wednesday, then I went to the movies Thursday, there were three wrestling shows yesterday (Two Hook matches in three hours ?!?!), AND Forbidden Door tonight. It was a lot. So I didn't get a lot of writing done this past week, gah, hahaha. BUT there are three writing challenges I'm involved in for July so I'm hoping that I will have more time and more motivation for all of that, we'll see. Feel free to hang around and point and laugh at me every Sunday I post a lackluster update. Anything's possible! I hope not, but who knows, haha. Anyway it's late and I'm getting sleepy so I'm gonna post this now. See y'all next week.

HOOK vs Cogar ended in a no contest when KJ Orso (previously Fuego Del Sol) interfered. After a ref bump, Cogar had tapped to the Redrum. I guess HOOK has to go kick Orso's ass again now lol

Too much has been going on this week between the Infinite Rumble, family stuff, and then ALL of the wrestling this weekend, so I forgot all about Night of Champions being an afternoon show and had to watch it on an hour delay since I had errands to run, but just finished it and gotta say it was a pretty decent show all in all.

And had some interesting camera work too.
