I had a liver transplant when I was 14 and like six months later I was chatting with my surgeon and he said “there’s gonna come a time, probably when you’re a teenager, where you’re gonna think, ‘I feel great, why am I still taking all this medication? I haven’t needed it in years.’ and you’re gonna want to stop taking all this medication. Guess what’s gonna happen then? Barely got bingo there. I don't actually know if I like horror or spiderman. I'm not very into superheroes but Spiderman's one of the one's I know more about(except batman. I got the waynes) I like Spider-Gwen more. And then I kind of hate the typical horror movies(don't get suspense at all) but I like the Magnus Archives(A LOT), and Pan's Labyrinth, which are both horror

okay but really, the wildfires are TERRIFYING. Poor Toronto is absolutely covered in smoke, and the worst part is it's blowing all over the place! My window is grey. I don't even live in Canada, but the smoke coming from up north is horrendous!
From what I've been able to figure out, it's because of these main factors:
Wildfire Suppression - when smaller wildfires are put out, a lot of trees and flammable brush is left unburnt. After years of this, the amount of fuel builds up substantially; meaning that when fires happen, they burn hotter, longer, and bigger.
Climate Change - the climate is shifting hotter, and this could be affecting the forests in Canada by making conditions more optimal for wildfires. Canada, in particular, is warming at twice the global average and is becoming much drier than normal.
Possible human causes - ex. cigarettes, campfires, etc. Statistics say that about half of wildfires are caused by human intervention. This is probably not the main cause of the Canadian wildfires, but because the forests are essentially giant tinderboxes right now... yikes.
So... yeah! Keep cool and breath healthy! I'm not going outside for a few days, and I'm going to try to make more progress on my essays and applications. I hope everyone in Canada affected by the fires is doing alright. Everyone else who is dealing with the air pollution... stay inside and drink water! :)
