My Beryl, my lovely betta boy, is quite possibly dying. He's basically stopped swimming. He just rests at the top of the tank in an upside-down U shape. He's still alive, he still eats, but for most of the entire day.. there he floats.
I took a picture and went to a pet store, and found the lady who has always helped me with fish in the past and showed her. Her instant reaction was one of sorrow and "Oh no, oh poor baby, oh no..." so.. that right there kind of told me everything.
She said I could try a bacterial treatment, and I decided to go ahead with that, but I think I'm giving him a week and if he's not better by then, or hasn't passed on his own, I may euthanize. I don't want him suffering.
