This team continues to grow each day and take more ownership of their chicken keeping activity now harvesting nearly 50 eggs a day which will translate to roughly TSH 180,000 profit per month or $100/month. Today we discovered that a few of our @magoma.project #IntegratedSysyem #chickens played an #AprilFoolsDay joke on us and we just didn't notice. Apparently they've been flying over the fence of their grazing area, laying eggs by the side of the #fishpond then sneaking back into their coop before we arrive in the afternoon. The bottom of the fishpond after harvesting looks like the top of one of those dusted chocolate cookies.  We decided not to use the same fishlings again because they were not in fact the original west nile tilapia we had hoped.  Rather they were mixed breeds which did not grow to be the same size or shape as what we desire.  What we desire is shown above, fresh out of Lake Mayuyu where we will go to get new fishlings once this cookie of a pond is soggy again and full of water.
