i would love to talk about moral ocd its just that like any time i mention it i worry im coming across like an asshole whos trying to excuse his bad actions and shitty behavior
which could be a symptom of anything
Gonna have to start teaching people who are getting marginalized women of this site banned the the A's of accountability like they're preschoolers
While using puppets:
Okay stalkers ... I mean... Accountability army... The A's are:
ACCURATE - is the thing you are trying to right factually correct? Are there sources from outside your own community that exist To show evidence of these claims?
AGE- has it been a considerable amount of time since the thing you are trying to right?
ADJACENT - are you close to the person in question, or have been directly affected by their actions?
AMENDS - has the person recognized the issue with their behavior and apologized? Has their behavior caused any harm other than theoretically?
With another puppet:
And don't forget to avoid the H's of harassment!
HATE - is it possible the person in question is being targeted due to some reason other than the act in question? Are they marginalized? Especially on multiple fronts.
HARBORED - are there several individuals leading the claims made consistently targeting one or two individuals at a time? Do they encourage people to implicitly or explicitly target their person of interest?
HELL - does anyone believe that there is an action the person in question can take other than erasing themselves? Is said Person talked about as deserving extreme or unusual punishment?
HEARSAY - is there any evidence of the claims being made? Do the claims rely on documentation rather than implications made by those harassing the target? Is the evidence being provided a clear sign of abuse, or is the abuse being extrapolated as a form of thought crime?
> "discourse"
>looks inside
>its transphobia.
Hey, in hopes this will reach some trans sisters, I want it to be known: This is not true.
It's rather common for transphobes, even ones that are trans themselves, to pretend to be trans-accepting online to ultimately cause harm to impressionable people, AKA trans people who are very vulnerable. You can find dozens of people admitting to this, particularly on already Nazi-fied sites like X.
They'll come off as very fiercely trans-accepting initially. And then they'll start to say things like this, framed in a 'woke' manner, about how trans healthcare is gross and mutilates your body.
I want to be very clear when I say that it does not. Bottom surgery has risks like any other medical procedure, but you will not see these people opposing heart surgery or chemotherapy. And voice training is, in of itself, completely safe. I promise.
You absolutely do not have to medically transition, that's right. But you can. And it won't make your body ugly. It won't be you betraying your community by conforming to cisgender society. You're not losing anything except your dick and balls.
Please make the right decision for you and nobody else. And, whether you want every affirming treatment you can find or none at all, block these people. It may seem like nothing, but that's exactly why they do it. Plausible deniability.
Don't get roped into the fearmongering.
ID: A screenshot of a Tumblr post, author cropped out, reading: "vaginoplasty and voice training are so evil. when a tgirl conforms to cisgender standards an angel loses their wings. and [caps] You [caps end] are the angel and [caps] You [caps end] are losing your wings."
It's tagged as "trans", "transfem", and "t4t".
End ID.
Every time a trans woman is made uncomfortable about what they want in a transition, an angel loses their wings. Every time a trans girl finds what makes them happy with themselves, an angel gets their wings back

Always give her an out. Give her a path to take. Do not push a trans women out of online and public life because sheās done something bad in the past.
Recognise that people can change.
There is a difference between āI donāt feel comfortable being around you anymore so Iām leaving/blocking/not interactingā and making a fucking harassment blog because you donāt like someone.
Donāt start becoming someoneās fucking jailer, locking them out of public life, because they did something bad. And even if she hasnāt apologised yet, or has no remorse? Just block. Donāt start badgering someone because you think youāre morally correct, because youāve never ādone anything wrongā.
Harassment and stalking are wrong. Why are you interacting with blogs that offend you, or are by people who you feel morally correct in shitting on?
Get Kiwi farms out of your damn brain.
Honestly Iām starting to think callout posts are bullshit, especially when theyāre about a trans woman.
Like I have watched callout videos before, where itās just 20 minutes of āthis lady was being annoyingā (or itās just an autistic person not phrasing things in a perfect manner) which is just an excuse to start looking into her personal accounts, and then make fun of her kinks.
Itās just stalking, harassment, and bullying. And a lot of these callouts you see going around get information wrong constantly, usually so they can reframe any mistake someoneās done in the worst possible light.
Like I swear, the less ridged and more forgiving we get about morality, the better itāll be for everyone. And I hate that not everyoneās realised yet that itās disproportionally effecting trans women!
trans people will be considered whatever gender is most convenient to vilify or humiliate them, no matter what. this used to be foundational and well understood in the trans community. some people appear to have forgotten.. probably because they want to vilify or humiliate trans people.
You donāt have to be a woman to like femininity.
You donāt have to. You can like feminine, masculine, gender neutral or androgynous, any kind of stuff thatās given a gendered label. And it should not mean anything about you.
I find the idea that someone is actually a woman, only because they like feminine stuff just.. incredibly reductive.
Like, assuming a GNC Cis Man is going to transition because heās feminine? Even if itās true a lot of trans women before their eggs cracked used to identify as GNC, itās not true for everyone.
And honestly I think itās even more offensive when this is directed towards transmascs and trans men who might be GNC, or still enjoy stuff thatās stereotyped as feminine from their childhood.
Like, if all men who like femininity are secretly women, you realise trans men are included as men right? So it looks like youāre promoting detranstion to us.

Women are people. Men are people. Non-binary? People.
Iām saying this so it gets into my head, because my OCD has been putting all women into a special category of person that means theyāre inherently better than me, on the basis of identity. And it has been giving me delusions, and Iāve been having mental breakdowns because Iām not a woman anymore.
When the truth is. Women are people. I donāt have to mourn not being a woman anymore, because my brain is telling me if Iām not a woman then Iām morally corrupt. Or morally bankrupt for my own existence.. when women, are people. And all people should be treated equally.
Itās not fair or rational to put any gender above another, anyone no matter their gender can be an awful person. Itās not a good thing to idolise a gender to the point of internalised transphobia at myself, or to take the words of every woman as more important than my own experiences as a trans person.
Women are people. People are animals. Human beings are flesh and blood, and we live under awful systems that incentivise inequality, but if my identity changes I am not accountable for the actions of other people. I havenāt.. done anything. I donāt even pass that well.
By my gender changing, I am not harming anyone. Transition is an inherently neutral action, itās just living. Itās just growing up, and realising parts of yourself.
When a Parrotfish goes from female to male, does he think about the implications? No. No that fish is just living. Humans are just living. People.. people are living.
Okay, I think I might understand what the girls mean by "afab privilege".
It's because a lot of transmascs, white transmascs in particular, experience a softening of how they're treated. They're not treated as men, they're treated as women who wear pants. So they're not demonized as strongly as trans women who have to deal with the brunt of transmisogyny.
But.. I think there's a problem with just the framing that this is the default position of how all transmascs are treated. Because there's just a wide variety of transphobia out there, it's not the universal experience. Not every transmasc or trans man is going to be treated like woman-lite in a way that's "respectful". Not every transmasc is going to have their gender validated over a trans woman's, or be accepted as a man in a world that would rather see him as a woman who's having a phase.
Maybe we're just applying our own subjective observations of trans experience onto all trans people as a whole, instead of us all.. asking about our experiences and how we've been effected in our lives? You know?
Hey. I donāt think itās healthy for me to be on this blog. Or to follow anyone who talks about TME/TMA stuff anymore.
We just had an alter split who wants to detransition us, and is on a spiral. And I donāt feel safe knowing itās genuinely triggering OCD thoughts.
Venting. Again. Sorry.
I just need to say, whenever I see a post where a trans woman says anything bad about trans men, it makes me have really bad intrusive thoughts. So.. this is just me trying to get them out somewhere and out of my head.
I donāt logically believe any of this when Iām in my right mind.
I get a lot of posts on my feed about ātransandrophobiaā and Iām kinda confused. I get that itās transphobia against transmasc/trans men. The reason Iām confused is because I see a lot of people say it is real⦠or it isnāt real⦠or if you believe in it youāre a TERF⦠or if you DONāT believe in it youāre a TERF. Can someone explain this discourse to me like Iām five years old? Iām genuinely confused. /genq /srs
I have a recent post breaking it down from a feminist perspective!
Basically, itās a term gaing popularity among trans men that describes the intersection of oppositional sexism, traditional sexism, and cultural feminism, mediated by androphobia, or the hatred of āwrongā masculinity. In basic language:
Transphobia: āYou canāt change sex/gender, and if you do, itās inferior or wrong.ā
Misogyny: āWomen must be forcibly kept in inferior positions to men in order to enable menās reproductive, patriarchal control.ā
Oppositonal sexism: āMen and women are inherently different.ā
Traditional sexism: āWomen are inferior to men.ā
Cultural feminism: āWomen are pure and can do no wrong, men are inherently evil or at least suspect.ā
Transmisogyny: āMen and women are inherently different, sexgender cannot be changed, and an attempt to become a woman is insane and punishable because women are the inferior class.ā
Transandrophobia: āMen and women are inherently different, sexgender cannot be changed, and an attempt to become a man is insane and punishable because women cannot challenge their inherent inferiority, and/or being a woman is a sacred duty/divine right and choosing to be a man degrades that.ā
Femmephobia: Hatred and control of femininity in all subjects, but particularly in those not ātypically allowed to be feminineā. While cis gay men are not subject to misogyny, they are subject to femmephobia.
Androphobia: Hatred and control of masculinity in those not ātypically allowed to be masculineā or otherwise those performing āwrong masculinityā. Butch lesbians are affected by misogyny and androphobia, for example, but usually not femmephobia.
The important thing to remember is that LGBT terminology is a living tapestry with a very, very short history in terms of western academia. Julia Serano coined transmisogyny in the early 2000s and she and many other early LGBT activists are still alive today (and there are many more who should be alive but are not due to the AIDS crisis.) The words ātransgenderā ātransexualā ātrans manā and ātrans womanā are very new: the gender expansive people at Stonewall didnāt use them, but instead called themselves transvestites, drag queens, and stone butches. I donāt think everyone is obligated to resonate with the term ātransandrophobiaā. The experiences it describes are very real though, and ultimately the adoption of a term is up to those who utilize it, not those who donāt utilize it.

I'm actually so sick and tired of fandom's obsession with gay men and the way that it dismisses and ignores other queer people. And if I said that it disproportionally affects transfem people and characters (as well as other types of trans people)?
Y'all will never escape the patriarchy if you get upset when characters are confirmed not men and whine about your yaoi being ruined. Y'all will never develop a political consciousness if you ignore political and societal themes in a Q & A to ask the ten millionth question about the "twink" you find cute instead (and fishing for relationship details for him). Y'all will never grow past your internalized transmisogyny if you go out of your way to leave comments under someone's transfem headcanon to tell people you don't really like it because you think "he's cuter as a femboy". Y'all will never truly understand other queer people if you shave and file down an ace character and write them as if they're allo just because he has a canon man love interest (and erase the fact that he's nonbinary so you can call it mlm...).
my craziest take is you can be cis in a trans way if you feel like it. Like its literally no big deal. if you wanna be completely cisgender but still feel as if you're alienated from your agab then you can be cis in a trans way
you can be cis and give yourself other pronouns too. you can be a woman who's he/him and entirely femme. who cares. Literally who cares
