Reminder for multiplayer gamers (specifically on this one for DBD):
Teabagging doesn’t prove you are good, it just proves you’re a bad sport
Your team doesn’t like you, your opponents don’t like you.
You are already skilled, be proud of that.
But if you’re gonna show your skill and teabag, you aren’t a good person, just a dick with a high rating.
People won’t want to play with you. Communities aren’t huge in niche games like that. I’ve dropped lobby’s for recognizing a name of a douche which means your team mates have to wait longer to play a game they enjoy.
Killers are DESPERATE for lobby’s. But we won’t play with bad people, nor should other survivors
Be better, for the enjoyment of everyone else playing.
(And the same goes go killers regarding player mocking or characters that can crouch teabagging)
It’s a game people, have fun. Don’t be a cock.

People also fail to realize that most of if not all (I’m not entirely sure) of the killers are influenced by The Entity. A lot of people don’t know (or maybe just pretend to not know) that the Entity is very fucking powerful and very fucking manipulative.
It will take the very thing you are so against and use it to corrupt your mind until you are nothing but a violent and relentless killing machine. The Entity will whisper in your ear as if he is someone who is close to you and spout out words of deceit and bloodlust until you mentally cannot take over your own conscious and commit violent acts even though it used to reflect nothing upon your character.
Sally, for example, was not a woman to kill. She valued taking care of the patients in the asylum, viewing them as humans too and was willing to go back each time to visit them.
But the entity corrupted her mind, made everything a bit more intense, and a bit more overstimulating day after day. The screams got louder, the cries got sadder and the Broken Woman’s mantras grew more and more enticing.
She shows this act of corruption when she visits the Anxious Girl once more and calls her filthy for having lice in her hair. Even Sally herself was taken aback at the fact that she just degraded this poor little girl.
You have to put into account that every killer has been repeatedly tortured and abused by the Entity in some way shape or form, therefore altering most of the decisions that they make.
That’s not even the start of everything or anything. You all really just have to read it for yourselves but are you even up for the challenge?
In my dbd rot era I've seen quite a few theories, writings, fics, you name it. The whole debate on whether you can leave the realm and how, those are good but old questions. So let me serve you a new one -
"Where would the characters come back?"
Maybe I'm misinterpreting, but please do stick around because:
If I'm right, this is an underused aspect of the game that should be explored more in writing pieces especially
If I'm wrong, it's still fun to think about and I encourage you to give it a go yourself as well
I feel like the idea is pretty much self-explanatory:
Entity finds a world (which I'll be referring to as Terra) sits on it, sneaks its influence in, finds a Killer (usually the priority, at least that's the pattern I've observed with character lores), snatches a survivor like a souvenir, and then goes on leaving the world to destroy itself.
That sounds brutal.
But also poses quite some conflict which I am ready to explore.
How does it take multiple characters from the same Terra but from varying points in time? Shouldn't it be destroyed by 'now'?
Well my dear reader, may I remind you the Entity is stated to be a multidimensional, omnipotent being. It needs to enter the Terra only once, and then it gets access to all of its existence. Snatching 2 beings (especially from the similar spot, as plenty of lores show us the characters being taken from the same/similar area across different points of time - such as Caleb and Zarina.) isn't something not aligning with its stated abilities.
What about the characters from different DLCs that have some connections with one another?
This is a slightly tougher one but I see two options - either the Entity goes for multiple cosmic kidnappings at once
Or
Those characters are from different, but very similar Terras which are close enough for them to recognize each other without finding any 'canon variety' aspects.
Is there proof of the Entity destroying the worlds?
Yes and no. The Observer talks about it in his Tome entry Arcus 07, even though the entry itself hasn't been released officially, it does give a good glimpse into the workings of the Realm.
Why do I care about it?
Because imagine you're in an endless loop of torture or servitute, hoping to escape or go back to your old residence to see through unfinished business.. only to learn everything you knew, loved or hated, is gone.
All people, places, history, it's all gone and you - and a handful of others if you're lucky, are the last thing that remains from the WHOLE WORLD you used to be a part of.
