hi!! i’m august, welcome to my silly little corner of the internet! i post about a lot of different shit on here usually but usually stuff i post and/or reblog are

i use they/he pronouns, im a technical theatre major in university and am planning on going into set design as a career, and i tend to try and incorporate my interests to my passion!

I just finished book 6 of Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's been only a couple weeks. New hyperfixation unlocked ! But really, this series is so so good. All hail Princess donut, the Queen Anne chonk.

i am a strong believer that part of the reason why carl avoids romantic and sexual relationships so much in DCC is because what he'd truly wanted was companionship. he felt alone his whole life, he just wanted companionship and family. he had that (in his mind) with bea and donut, so despite how shitty she treated him, he brushed it off and continued on. in the dungeon (alongside not having time for it cuz he's busy scheming and terrorizing the dungeon and fucking shit up), he doesn't seek out or feel romantic attraction for anyone because romance wasn't ever anything he was inclined towards. he just wanted companionship. a family. and he has that with safehouse yolanda. he has a family and he has companionship.
