Don’t normally make this kind of post but with Easter around the corner I think now is a ripe time to share something!

There’s a local non-profit near me that rescues bunnies! And they’re always in need of donations to keep their shelter running. 

My personal fav right now in their awesome lineup of buns is Snow, Princess of Flopping:

Taken moments before she showed me exactly how glorious her flops are. Basking in such a display I was a fool who forgot to take a second picture. 

ANYWAYS. A lot of people are terrible and don’t realize the commitment behind a pet rabbit and buy them in spades for kids as gifts for Easter and then get in over their heads and abandon them for a number of reasons- all of them dumb. So this group FUR- Friends of Unwanted Rabbits, goes out of their way to take care of these abandoned cuties, gets them medical treatments and spay/neutered, and then has an arrangement with some local pet stores to display them for adoption. (They all seem very content every time I visit them, so I believe they’ve been doing well for these buns).

Let’s pay a visit to the Department of Exceptional Upcycling and check out the work of Russian sculptor Igor Verniy, who uses scrap metal, silverware, old bike chains and other salvaged materials to create fantastic steampunk and cyberpunk creatures. Many of Verniy’s intricate sculptures are designed to be full articulated and feature lots of moving parts enabling them to posed in a wide variety of lifelike positions.

A new edition of Rice Boy, my first graphic novel, is coming out very soon from Iron Circus Comics!!
