Tipping is super weird. I see wayyyyyyyy too many people putting all their energy into getting people to tip more and shaming people for not paying like 20% or more on charges instead of going “wait a second, customers shouldn’t be responsible for an employee being able to pay their bills”. Employers love that we’ve shifted the blame for tipping onto customers instead of onto them for shafting their employees with shitty hours, shitty responsibilities, and even worse pay.
