[He crawls out from between floorboards, coughing quietly. ...Once his vision adjusts, he looks...deeply confused and rather concerned. What's happening here..?]
*Goggles sees him first and, instead of greeting him, subtly gestures towards a table with a long table cloth.*
*He wants him to hide..*
[He looks....very confused. Given that this is the circus, and he's quite comfortable here, he.....doesn't actually hide. At least, not well... He stares up at the two for a long moment before half-skittering under the table, though making a quiet clack-clack noise against the floor..]
*TFC notices him pretty quickly.*
"Hm-? Hello?" *He approaches and crouches down to get a better look at Rainbow.*
[He stares at him, backing away a little...he doesn't quite know if he can trust TFC, but it's clearly too late...]
*He picks him up. He's a little rough, but doesn't seem to be trying to hurt Rainbow.*
"Well, aren't you a neat little thing?"
*Goggles's ears are pinned back..*
[He hesitantly nods, glancing at Goggles with quiet, bubbling fear..His small antennae twitch.]
*TFC starts yapping about.. something. Its hard to keep up with how fast he's talking. Its something about a performance.*
*He tries to use his powers to get something from across the room, but something goes wrong. Rainbow feels a little shock go through his body..*

[He flinches, but for a moment nothing seems to happen...then things start tingling..]
*He hears a voice call out from the hall.*
"Curse, can you come here for a minute?"
"Yup, I'm coming!"
*He hands Rainbow to Goggles and leaves.*
*the moment TFC leaves the room, Goggles gets visibly less tense.*
"You ok, bud..?"
[He wiggles uncomfortably.]
I think he shocked me or somethin'...m all tingly...
"Oh.. I'm sorry, lil guy.." *He sighs,* "I'm gonna bring you to my lab, ok? It's safer there."
*He climbs into the vents with him. Luckily, they get to the lab before anything big happens..*
[He nods, curling into his hold...His whole body feels numb..]
*He sits down and gently holds him.*
[He blinks, it's all going white...what's.........going on......?]
mmm...my...sight's....getting wor-worse...
[He starts twitching violently, his hand starting to contort in strange, unusual shapes...soon, his handle starts to lengthen, quickly followed by a pinched-shut yelp of pain..]
wgh...wha...guh..??
[His mouth is starting to reshape as his form grows steadily..]
"Wha-" *He pauses, staring in horror.* "What's going on..?!"
l-l-let m-me g-go-! It's...getting b-b-b-bad-!
[He starts crying, his form quickly losing its pickaxe shape, starting.....to look eerily like a decapitated head. Something falls to the floor, a...small ribcage..? It soon grows organs, muscles, then skin, and quickly grows....producing four more small bones, which start to grow into limbs...He starts coughing, his mouth becoming..........]
[.......normal looking?]
[He soon coughs violently, spitting out a viscera-covered diamond pickaxe, it clatters to the floor amongst the odd growing body parts now helplessly laying on the floor...]
h-h-h-H-E-L-p-p-p...
[Somehow, he has....two eyes now? ...Normal eyes...?]
*Goggles, now panicking, does not, in fact, let him go. He loosens his grip, though. After a moment, he focuses enough to grab the body parts off the floor, awkwardly holding them now.*
*There's footsteps approaching the lab..*
[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*
*The door swings open..*
"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*
"... Shit."
[Rainbow flinches as it collapses, his body still twitching, the viscera on the pickaxe gleaming uncomfortably. He can scarcely breathe...]
H...h.h.h...hhh..
[He's sobbing, it hurts...he can't be seen like this...his mouth tastes of metallic blood...]
*He feels a gentle, warm hand on his head.*
*Beef is clearly very freaked out, but is trying to keep his voice soft to soothe Rainbow.*
"Hey.. its gonna be ok..." *He picks Rainbow's disconnected body parts up, giving Goggles a chance to stand up.*
[He leans into the touch, still too panicked to speak properly...]
[Suddenly, his arms fuse to his torso, and his legs fuse with each other, but he's still split...He feels a radiating sting, as he awkwardly struggles to hug Beef....]

[His body seems about equal in strength and girth as Beef, more or less. It....was definitely for the best that he picked him up.]
*He sits on the floor so he doesn't drop him. He gently rubs Rainbow's back.*
"I know it hurts.. just try to relax, ok..? I've got you..."
[He bites his lip, nodding. It doesn't take long for his legs to fuse with his body, and then his head. He lets out a huge sigh of relief, finally fully leaning against Beef. He quietly sobs, as his senses return to him and he grasps his friend with hands he finally recognizes are his and his alone. Strong. Capable. Something he thought he'd lost forever...]
*By the time he comes back to his senses, Goggles is gone..*
*Beef loosens his grip so Rainbow can move, but doesn’t let go.*
"It's, uh.. it's good to see you again, Rainbow.." *He awkwardly smiles.*
[He sighs deeply, though finally laughs in a raspy, hoarse voice. He shakily wipes away tears, not used to having a real, honest-to-god body.]
It-it's n-nice to see y-you too, Beef..
*He wipes the blood off Rainbow's face.* "You feeling ok, bud..? That looked.. scary.."
I..it's not...a-as b-bad as it-it looks...
[He stares at the viscera covered pickaxe, trying to make sense of everything.]
Wh...where's Goggles..?
"I'm.. not sure. I think he went to go get Seer."
[He sighs, snuggling into his touch.]
As long as he's okay...
"He's ok, I promise.." *He pets Rainbow's head.*

[He softly purrs, closing his eyes. His insectoid tail curls around Beef.]
*After a minute, Goggles comes back, followed by Seer.*
*Goggles now has a makeshift shoulder brace on.*
*Seer immediately hugs Rainbow, cooing.*
"Rainbow! I missed you!"

[He purrs even louder, though glances over with worry at Goggles.]
*Seer hugs him tighter, smiling.*
*Goggles, noticing Rainbow's concern, gives an awkward thumbs up.*
[[He does give Goggles a sad smile, hugging Seer tightly. His arms are so much stronger now, but he's very careful with his sweet, kind friend...he couldn't stand it if he accidentally hurt them...]
*Seer happily nuzzles him, absolutely overjoyed.*
[He nuzzles him right back, his soft fur is so warm and inviting, it feels like Seer could fall asleep forever in his arms.]

*Goggles walks over and sits next to them.*
[He happily chuffs, gently patting Goggles' head.]

[He closes his eyes, leaning into the touch. Flowers start to sprout all over him, most in his hair or on his arms. Many dandelions, but also poppies, cornflowers, and tulips. A warm smile spreads on his lips.]
*Seer also starts petting him.*
[He melts into the touch, as flowers continue to bloom.]
"You're adorable :> "
[He's practically a one-person flower garden now. He giggles softly.]
*Desert finally fully leans against him, properly joining the cuddle pile.*
[He softly reaches up and pats his head.]
*he smiles.*
I'm so glad I can hug you guys for real now-!

[He laughs, finally sitting up.]
It's- It's like a miracle, really-!
[He finally can look up at all his friends, his grin plain to see.]

[He finally manages to stand tall for one of the first times in his life, and he is so very infinitely grateful for it. He softly nuzzles Beef, careful to avoid the axe.]

[He purrs again, as the flowers entangling themselves around his body curl up a little.]

[He waves Desert and Goggles goodbye with his free hand, smiling.]

[His tail is still wagging like crazy as they leave the room.]
"So.. where do you wanna go first?"
Anywhere, really! I just...never got to see most of this place when I've visited before!
"Alright!" *he starts showing him around.*
[He excitedly takes in every step and every detail he can get his hands on, all the while his excitement never decreasing.]
This place is so pretty, in it's own way....
"Heh.. yeah, I guess it is."
[He softly pats Seer's head, just to make sure he's still there.]

"You wanna see the outside?"

*It's set up like a big carnival.*

*They're all pretty typical carnival games.*
*a fishing game with magnetic fish, a colorful ringtoss game, a game with balls and stacked bottles, things like that.*
[After making his rounds, examining all of them and the hard work put into them, he comes back to the fishing game first. He seems especially enamored with the carvings on the small fish.]
*The fish are very well detailed, especially for something so small.*
[His tail gently wags as he plays the game, examining each one he manages to snag.]

*Beef comes up next to him.* "I could teach you how to do woodcarving, if you wanted."
[He gasps.]

"I'll teach you once you're done out here, alright?"

[He keeps playing until he catches all the fish, giving each one a small kiss before returning them. He tries out some other interesting games.]
*At some point, Seer leaves to go do something.*
[He eventually gets bored and comes back to Beef.]

*He shrugs,* "No clue. He should be back soon, though."

*he pats his head.* "You having fun, bud?"
[He makes an excited chirping noise.]

[He starts jumping up and down, flapping his hands from sheer excitement. Wagging his tail isn't enough, it seems.]
"You can look around, if you want. I'll get the carving stuff."

[He starts looking around, poking and touching stuff.]
*There's quite a few different things. Clay, paints, chalk, crayons.. all sorts of stuff.*
[He looks utterly fascinated, he doesn't even know what half of this stuff even is, but he loves it.]
*theres a container of brightly colored clay on one of the tables.*
[He curiously opens it, poking at it.]
*Its quite squishy. It's a bit softer than regular clay.*
Oooo....
[His big spoon shaped ears perk up. He carefully pulls it out, squishing it around in his hands.]
*It somewhat holds its shape, but easily squishes back down.*
[He starts shaping it into something as Beef collects the items.]
*Beef finally comes over with the carving tools and a few pieces of jungle wood. He looks to see what Rainbow is making.*
[He's making little flowers and leaves.]
"Aww, those are cute.."

[When he's done, he carefully balls it up and puts it back in, but not before squishing a smiley face into it.]

*He climbs into the vents with him. Luckily, they get to the lab before anything big happens..*

[He blinks, it's all going white...what's.........going on......?]

[He starts twitching violently, his hand starting to contort in strange, unusual shapes...soon, his handle starts to lengthen, quickly followed by a pinched-shut yelp of pain..]

[His mouth is starting to reshape as his form grows steadily..]
"Wha-" *He pauses, staring in horror.* "What's going on..?!"
l-l-let m-me g-go-! It's...getting b-b-b-bad-!
[He starts crying, his form quickly losing its pickaxe shape, starting.....to look eerily like a decapitated head. Something falls to the floor, a...small ribcage..? It soon grows organs, muscles, then skin, and quickly grows....producing four more small bones, which start to grow into limbs...He starts coughing, his mouth becoming..........]
[.......normal looking?]
[He soon coughs violently, spitting out a viscera-covered diamond pickaxe, it clatters to the floor amongst the odd growing body parts now helplessly laying on the floor...]
h-h-h-H-E-L-p-p-p...
[Somehow, he has....two eyes now? ...Normal eyes...?]
*Goggles, now panicking, does not, in fact, let him go. He loosens his grip, though. After a moment, he focuses enough to grab the body parts off the floor, awkwardly holding them now.*
*There's footsteps approaching the lab..*
[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*
*The door swings open..*
"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*
"... Shit."
[Rainbow flinches as it collapses, his body still twitching, the viscera on the pickaxe gleaming uncomfortably. He can scarcely breathe...]

[He's sobbing, it hurts...he can't be seen like this...his mouth tastes of metallic blood...]

[Suddenly, his arms fuse to his torso, and his legs fuse with each other, but he's still split...He feels a radiating sting, as he awkwardly struggles to hug Beef....]

[His body seems about equal in strength and girth as Beef, more or less. It....was definitely for the best that he picked him up.]
*He sits on the floor so he doesn't drop him. He gently rubs Rainbow's back.*
"I know it hurts.. just try to relax, ok..? I've got you..."
[He bites his lip, nodding. It doesn't take long for his legs to fuse with his body, and then his head. He lets out a huge sigh of relief, finally fully leaning against Beef. He quietly sobs, as his senses return to him and he grasps his friend with hands he finally recognizes are his and his alone. Strong. Capable. Something he thought he'd lost forever...]
*By the time he comes back to his senses, Goggles is gone..*
*Beef loosens his grip so Rainbow can move, but doesn’t let go.*
"It's, uh.. it's good to see you again, Rainbow.." *He awkwardly smiles.*
[He sighs deeply, though finally laughs in a raspy, hoarse voice. He shakily wipes away tears, not used to having a real, honest-to-god body.]

[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]

[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*
*The door swings open..*
"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*

[Rainbow flinches as it collapses, his body still twitching, the viscera on the pickaxe gleaming uncomfortably. He can scarcely breathe...]

*He sits on the floor so he doesn't drop him. He gently rubs Rainbow's back.*

[He bites his lip, nodding. It doesn't take long for his legs to fuse with his body, and then his head. He lets out a huge sigh of relief, finally fully leaning against Beef. He quietly sobs, as his senses return to him and he grasps his friend with hands he finally recognizes are his and his alone. Strong. Capable. Something he thought he'd lost forever...]
*By the time he comes back to his senses, Goggles is gone..*
*Beef loosens his grip so Rainbow can move, but doesn’t let go.*
"It's, uh.. it's good to see you again, Rainbow.." *He awkwardly smiles.*
[He sighs deeply, though finally laughs in a raspy, hoarse voice. He shakily wipes away tears, not used to having a real, honest-to-god body.]

[He starts crying, his form quickly losing its pickaxe shape, starting.....to look eerily like a decapitated head. Something falls to the floor, a...small ribcage..? It soon grows organs, muscles, then skin, and quickly grows....producing four more small bones, which start to grow into limbs...He starts coughing, his mouth becoming..........]

[He soon coughs violently, spitting out a viscera-covered diamond pickaxe, it clatters to the floor amongst the odd growing body parts now helplessly laying on the floor...]

[Somehow, he has....two eyes now? ...Normal eyes...?]
*Goggles, now panicking, does not, in fact, let him go. He loosens his grip, though. After a moment, he focuses enough to grab the body parts off the floor, awkwardly holding them now.*
*There's footsteps approaching the lab..*
[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*
*The door swings open..*
"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*

[Rainbow flinches as it collapses, his body still twitching, the viscera on the pickaxe gleaming uncomfortably. He can scarcely breathe...]

[He soon coughs violently, spitting out a viscera-covered diamond pickaxe, it clatters to the floor amongst the odd growing body parts now helplessly laying on the floor...]

*Goggles, now panicking, does not, in fact, let him go. He loosens his grip, though. After a moment, he focuses enough to grab the body parts off the floor, awkwardly holding them now.*

[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*

"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*

It soon grows organs, muscles, then skin, and quickly grows....producing four more small bones, which start to grow into limbs...He starts coughing, his mouth becoming..........]

[He soon coughs violently, spitting out a viscera-covered diamond pickaxe, it clatters to the floor amongst the odd growing body parts now helplessly laying on the floor...]

*Goggles, now panicking, does not, in fact, let him go. He loosens his grip, though. After a moment, he focuses enough to grab the body parts off the floor, awkwardly holding them now.*

[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*
*The door swings open..*
"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*

[He soon coughs violently, spitting out a viscera-covered diamond pickaxe, it clatters to the floor amongst the odd growing body parts now helplessly laying on the floor...]

*Goggles, now panicking, does not, in fact, let him go. He loosens his grip, though. After a moment, he focuses enough to grab the body parts off the floor, awkwardly holding them now.*

[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*
*The door swings open..*
"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*

[He nuzzles Beef, too, relaxing.]
*Beef gently pats him again.*
[He purrs, now laying in his lap.]
....I really, really did miss you guys...
"We missed you, too, bud.." *Beef gently pets one of his antenna.*
[He closes his eyes, leaning into the touch. Flowers start to sprout all over him, most in his hair or on his arms. Many dandelions, but also poppies, cornflowers, and tulips. A warm smile spreads on his lips.]
*Seer also starts petting him.*
[He melts into the touch, as flowers continue to bloom.]
"You're adorable :> "
[He's practically a one-person flower garden now. He giggles softly.]
*Desert finally fully leans against him, properly joining the cuddle pile.*
[He softly reaches up and pats his head.]
*he smiles.*
I'm so glad I can hug you guys for real now-!
"So are we!"
[He laughs, finally sitting up.]
It's- It's like a miracle, really-!
[He finally can look up at all his friends, his grin plain to see.]
I'd honestly love to get a true and proper tour now that I can actually walk on my own :>
"I think we can do that :] "

[His tail is now wagging so intensely it's like a helicopter. He hugs Beef again.]
*Beef warmly laughs and scoops him up. With a bit of struggle, he manages to stand without tipping himself over.*
[He finally manages to stand tall for one of the first times in his life, and he is so very infinitely grateful for it. He softly nuzzles Beef, careful to avoid the axe.]

*He lets Rainbow stand mostly on his own, but keeps an arm around him in case he has trouble walking.*
"Aw, of course!" *he nuzzles him back.*
[He purrs again, as the flowers entangling themselves around his body curl up a little.]
*He starts walking with him. Seer follows, but the other two stay behind.*
[He waves Desert and Goggles goodbye with his free hand, smiling.]
*They wave back.*
[His tail is still wagging like crazy as they leave the room.]
"So.. where do you wanna go first?"
Anywhere, really! I just...never got to see most of this place when I've visited before!
"Alright!" *he starts showing him around.*
[He excitedly takes in every step and every detail he can get his hands on, all the while his excitement never decreasing.]
This place is so pretty, in it's own way....
"Heh.. yeah, I guess it is."
[He softly pats Seer's head, just to make sure he's still there.]

*Seer reaches up and pats him back.*
"You wanna see the outside?"

*He brings him outside.*
*It's set up like a big carnival.*

[He almost immediately starts running towards the many games like a small child.]
*Seer and Beef follow, making sure he doesn't get himself into any trouble.*
[He starts wandering around, looking at each of the games.]
*They're all pretty typical carnival games.*
*a fishing game with magnetic fish, a colorful ringtoss game, a game with balls and stacked bottles, things like that.*
[After making his rounds, examining all of them and the hard work put into them, he comes back to the fishing game first. He seems especially enamored with the carvings on the small fish.]
*The fish are very well detailed, especially for something so small.*
[His tail gently wags as he plays the game, examining each one he manages to snag.]

*Beef comes up next to him.* "I could teach you how to do woodcarving, if you wanted."
[He gasps.]

"I'll teach you once you're done out here, alright?"

[He keeps playing until he catches all the fish, giving each one a small kiss before returning them. He tries out some other interesting games.]
*At some point, Seer leaves to go do something.*
[He eventually gets bored and comes back to Beef.]
Oh? Where'd Seer go?
*He shrugs,* "No clue. He should be back soon, though."
Ah, okay then! ^^
*he pats his head.* "You having fun, bud?"
[Rainbow gets sent back to the circus...but not where he expected.]
*He's in The First Curse's workshop.*
*Goggles is there, standing on a small pedestal, watching as the young ringleader paces around the room. He looks.. deeply uncomfortable. He also doesn't have his lab coat currently.*
[He crawls out from between floorboards, coughing quietly. ...Once his vision adjusts, he looks...deeply confused and rather concerned. What's happening here..?]
*Goggles sees him first and, instead of greeting him, subtly gestures towards a table with a long table cloth.*
*He wants him to hide..*
[He looks....very confused. Given that this is the circus, and he's quite comfortable here, he.....doesn't actually hide. At least, not well... He stares up at the two for a long moment before half-skittering under the table, though making a quiet clack-clack noise against the floor..]
*TFC notices him pretty quickly.*
"Hm-? Hello?" *He approaches and crouches down to get a better look at Rainbow.*
[He stares at him, backing away a little...he doesn't quite know if he can trust TFC, but it's clearly too late...]
*He picks him up. He's a little rough, but doesn't seem to be trying to hurt Rainbow.*
"Well, aren't you a neat little thing?"
*Goggles's ears are pinned back..*
[He hesitantly nods, glancing at Goggles with quiet, bubbling fear..His small antennae twitch.]
*TFC starts yapping about.. something. Its hard to keep up with how fast he's talking. Its something about a performance.*
*He tries to use his powers to get something from across the room, but something goes wrong. Rainbow feels a little shock go through his body..*
Mmph..!
[He flinches, but for a moment nothing seems to happen...then things start tingling..]
*He hears a voice call out from the hall.*
"Curse, can you come here for a minute?"
"Yup, I'm coming!"
*He hands Rainbow to Goggles and leaves.*
*the moment TFC leaves the room, Goggles gets visibly less tense.*
"You ok, bud..?"
[He wiggles uncomfortably.]
I think he shocked me or somethin'...m all tingly...
"Oh.. I'm sorry, lil guy.." *He sighs,* "I'm gonna bring you to my lab, ok? It's safer there."
*He climbs into the vents with him. Luckily, they get to the lab before anything big happens..*
[He nods, curling into his hold...His whole body feels numb..]
*He sits down and gently holds him.*
[He blinks, it's all going white...what's.........going on......?]
mmm...my...sight's....getting wor-worse...
[He starts twitching violently, his hand starting to contort in strange, unusual shapes...soon, his handle starts to lengthen, quickly followed by a pinched-shut yelp of pain..]
wgh...wha...guh..??
[His mouth is starting to reshape as his form grows steadily..]
"Wha-" *He pauses, staring in horror.* "What's going on..?!"
l-l-let m-me g-go-! It's...getting b-b-b-bad-!
[He starts crying, his form quickly losing its pickaxe shape, starting.....to look eerily like a decapitated head. Something falls to the floor, a...small ribcage..? It soon grows organs, muscles, then skin, and quickly grows....producing four more small bones, which start to grow into limbs...He starts coughing, his mouth becoming..........]
[.......normal looking?]
[He soon coughs violently, spitting out a viscera-covered diamond pickaxe, it clatters to the floor amongst the odd growing body parts now helplessly laying on the floor...]
h-h-h-H-E-L-p-p-p...
[Somehow, he has....two eyes now? ...Normal eyes...?]
*Goggles, now panicking, does not, in fact, let him go. He loosens his grip, though. After a moment, he focuses enough to grab the body parts off the floor, awkwardly holding them now.*
*There's footsteps approaching the lab..*
[His head soon takes on the form of a full-and-proper Rainbow Steve with leaves in his hair and little bug pinchers on his cheeks. It's a bit awkward to hold, especially with all the split body parts clearly meant for someone of good weight and stature, far from what he used to be...His breathing is ragged and shallow, as his blurred eyes flick around in panic...]
[The rest of his body also has a lot of leafy and bug-like details, with one arm partially made out of wood and one leg fully bugged out. His other limbs have paws and fur, and so does his chest. His hands clumsily reach out to Goggles as he picks them up, latching onto him..]
*The chair collapses under their combined weight. Goggles manages to keep Rainbow from getting hurt during the fall.*
*The door swings open..*
"Alright I heard yelling what hap.. pened.." *Beef trails off when he sees them.*
"... Shit."
[Rainbow flinches as it collapses, his body still twitching, the viscera on the pickaxe gleaming uncomfortably. He can scarcely breathe...]
H...h.h.h...hhh..
[He's sobbing, it hurts...he can't be seen like this...his mouth tastes of metallic blood...]
*He feels a gentle, warm hand on his head.*
*Beef is clearly very freaked out, but is trying to keep his voice soft to soothe Rainbow.*
"Hey.. its gonna be ok..." *He picks Rainbow's disconnected body parts up, giving Goggles a chance to stand up.*
[He leans into the touch, still too panicked to speak properly...]
[Suddenly, his arms fuse to his torso, and his legs fuse with each other, but he's still split...He feels a radiating sting, as he awkwardly struggles to hug Beef....]
m...mmphhh...
[His body seems about equal in strength and girth as Beef, more or less. It....was definitely for the best that he picked him up.]
*He sits on the floor so he doesn't drop him. He gently rubs Rainbow's back.*
"I know it hurts.. just try to relax, ok..? I've got you..."
[He bites his lip, nodding. It doesn't take long for his legs to fuse with his body, and then his head. He lets out a huge sigh of relief, finally fully leaning against Beef. He quietly sobs, as his senses return to him and he grasps his friend with hands he finally recognizes are his and his alone. Strong. Capable. Something he thought he'd lost forever...]
*By the time he comes back to his senses, Goggles is gone..*
*Beef loosens his grip so Rainbow can move, but doesn’t let go.*
"It's, uh.. it's good to see you again, Rainbow.." *He awkwardly smiles.*
[He sighs deeply, though finally laughs in a raspy, hoarse voice. He shakily wipes away tears, not used to having a real, honest-to-god body.]
It-it's n-nice to see y-you too, Beef..
*He wipes the blood off Rainbow's face.* "You feeling ok, bud..? That looked.. scary.."
I..it's not...a-as b-bad as it-it looks...
[He stares at the viscera covered pickaxe, trying to make sense of everything.]
Wh...where's Goggles..?
"I'm.. not sure. I think he went to go get Seer."
[He sighs, snuggling into his touch.]
As long as he's okay...
"He's ok, I promise.." *He pets Rainbow's head.*
Al...alright...
[He softly purrs, closing his eyes. His insectoid tail curls around Beef.]
*After a minute, Goggles comes back, followed by Seer.*
*Goggles now has a makeshift shoulder brace on.*
*Seer immediately hugs Rainbow, cooing.*
"Rainbow! I missed you!"

[He purrs even louder, though glances over with worry at Goggles.]
*Seer hugs him tighter, smiling.*
*Goggles, noticing Rainbow's concern, gives an awkward thumbs up.*
[[He does give Goggles a sad smile, hugging Seer tightly. His arms are so much stronger now, but he's very careful with his sweet, kind friend...he couldn't stand it if he accidentally hurt them...]
*Seer happily nuzzles him, absolutely overjoyed.*
[He nuzzles him right back, his soft fur is so warm and inviting, it feels like Seer could fall asleep forever in his arms.]
I...I missed you guys...
"We missed you, too!"
*Goggles walks over and sits next to them.*
[He happily chuffs, gently patting Goggles' head.]
*Goggles quietly laughs.*

[He can't help but giggle too.]
