I've been writing since i was around eleven, started out with fanfiction (fandom i will not name but my irl friends know what it was lol) and now i write my own work. however i will occasionally write fan fiction as a warm up or if the fancy strikes me.
i am finished with my first book! it is yet untitled but it is currently going by SHRIKE. its the first in a series and i am currently querying it to agents in the hopes to be picked up. i will be posting updates to this blog as my publishing journey continues :)

this one is weird to talk about, because it was done at one point, but unfortunately, i hated it. so it got almost completely scrapped. however, I've added some other things into it and injected it with some of my signature violence and hopefully that'll fix it for me. aka, still outlining.

My friend was going through her discord messages this morning and key word searched "chili" and all of the texts were normal except for the one from me that said and I quote:

i think the most important part of any story is knowing how it will end. that's the first thing you gotta figure out. because otherwise you don't know what you're working towards.
ngl unless they are actual historical figures i get most of my names from fantasynamegenerators.com. its a massive data-base (no ai) of a bunch of different names from different time periods and fandoms. its very convenient and cool. 10/10 would recommend.
though sometimes i get them from other places. i got Poplar's middle name from a song.
dumb hack for people who are underwriters: make your font super small as you're writing to trick yourself into writing more, and then make it bigger again when you edit.
