TODAY'S QUESTION:

Shade would be fire- he’s angry and fights a lot, so it’s the obvious choice. Also, a fire burns the brightest when it’s well tended to, just like how shade eventually realizes the merits of actually being loved.

Nat would be water- she ends up dousing out a lot of Shade’s anger. Water is also unafraid of the fire it puts out, and Nat shows that same bravery and boldness, despite Shade’s reputation. Also water fits whatever container it’s put in, which is kind of like how Nat is able to adjust to any situation, extremely capable for someone of her age.

Freddie would be earth - being around him is like getting a rock thrown at you at the speed of light

Since I have 30 characters (proud) I choose their names with the element that they embody.

My OCs are Gods so each have their own special part of the world.

So I take the Latin name for this certain thing and change it to sound like a name.
