I hope they explore in s2 Nathan and Abaddon's relationship before Nathan's death. Did Nathan think Abaddon was an orphan? How did he react to him being a demon? Was he planning to adopt him? Did he briefly think about enrolling him in the local school before he saw his murderous tendencies? Would he read him bedtime stories? Did they play football together? How did trying to teach Abaddon how to sit in a chair go? Did Nathan want to teach and show Abaddon more stuff before his death? Did Abaddon know Nathan died of suicide? How did he react to Nathan's lifeless corpse? Did Katherine make a deal with him to keep it a secret from Nathan or did he just never tell him on his own? And if so, why? Did he not want his ally to remember his greatest defeat against his own mind? Is it because he wanted to forget as well? That the human he saw as a father friend killed himself? Did Abaddon think Nathan killed himself because he was being a burden? Does he still think that Nathan killed himself because he's being a burden?

I like how the fandom (so far) unanimously agrees that both Abaddon and Nathan don’t need to sleep but when Nathan was alive they definitely fell asleep with Abaddon in Nathan’s arms several times. The most father son ever.
