Agent Elvis premiered today, and although me and the rest of the team at Floyd weren’t credited, I’m still excited to see our boards come to life. @schultzy388 @gelsomeme @chadhurd83 @fastnerjeff @thelaststrawberrymilk @tqiuxiao were all on the first three episodes with me (as well as a crap ton of designers) and it was a really awesome and collaborative experience working together. It was the first time I felt like I got to go 110% in on drawing the most crazy and dynamic shots! Some made it to the final some didn’t. Agent Elvis premieres March 17th on Netflix! Finally! I worked on this thing at Floyd County back in 2020/21, and it’s one of my favorite productions I’ve been on. Specifically because of the perfect little team I worked with. The first 3 episodes are all us and I’m really proud of them. Some 2021 favs. * This year was a lot. I had 4 different projects I worked on be released. I started therapy, meditation, doing some form of cardio every week (some weeks🤷🏻‍♀️). I began a big personal project (plus a bunch of other projects I wrote and thumbnailed but didn’t finish or post), I started a new job, and I start another new one soon. Spoiler but the final episode of season 12 of Archer is out! Colt’s death was sad as hell as @allie.mertz and I were really shipping “Krolt” hard. I was super lucky @taylorparrishart gave me this bit of a scene that hadn’t been thumbnailed by @akielart yet. I wanted to miiiiiilk this for all the melodrama I could. I was dropping clues Krieger was gay for Colt and this was my pitch to really sell it. They ended up toning it down and cutting quite a bit, so this is my original with some added stuff. Episode 7 of this season of Archer has aired and I can finally share this unused design I made 😎. When we started the episode I was told Archer was wearing a “weirdly sexy 5th Element type suit” but there was no design yet. The script had sex dungeon jokes, so I quickly came up with this 😏 with some influence from @woozeldraws . I used it throughout my thumbnails but they ended up going with more of a wrestler looking singlet.
