It's just me perhaps, but i think Sakae has been getting finner and finner in the most recent chaps, i mean...

This is how he used to look when he was into his "fuck this shit i don't want outsiders in my city" phase

And this is currently him after having Sakura the chance to open up and realizes that Sakura isnt like most outsiders he knew due trauma

Is the shine in the eyes? Is the hair (because his hair is now even more shorter than before, now he looks more close to Yukio Kasamatsu from Kurobasu!)

I don't understand the official translation of this part:

ルド さっきより状況マジになったか？

My Japanese is not that good, so I compared it with a translator as well. We both come to the conclusion that this sentence means: "Rudo. Has the situation gotten more serious than before?"

What am I missing here?

I guess if you take the first [Rudo] speech bubble as the context maker for what comes next, then the "situation" (or "things" in the official translation) that Enjin talks about would be their current fight. But even then shouldn't what Enjin said still mean "did it get serious"?

What I understood these panels to mean is that [Rudo] does not add context to what comes next, meaning the "situation" is Enjin's use of Time Walk. So this last panel of Enjin goes right to the next page where his neck explodes.

In other words: Enjin's current use of Time Walk has now become serious compared his previous use. *blood splatter

This would automatically mean that a third use would be way more severe. But again, what am I missing? Or is the official translation not correct?

One word can really make a difference. Especially with diacritical marks.

ルド = Rudo さっきより状況 = situation from earlier マシになったか？ = is it better?

Smoother translation: Rudo. Situation a bit better now?

マシ here is another form of 増し/まし (na-adjective: better, preferable, least-worst)

Sometimes they change kanji words into katakana to emphasize something visually or emphasize their voice. Using マシ makes it more sharper sounding with more impact. Sometimes kanji feels a little stiff and slows the flow if it's the only kanji word in a sentence. I also hear that マシ can also mean "X is lesser than two evils" or "still bad, but more preferable now."

Enjin isn't dead but will get pretty close to it. My theory is that the reason Enjin knew how the watch works was because he used it once before, hence the scar on his head and why he was hesitant to use it back in the Trash Storm arc.
