Projects
Currently I'm splitting where I host my projects between the official Broken Dimensions website and my Patreon page, the latter of which is mostlt free to access if you just become a free member of the page.
I have multiple ongoing projects, all of which take place in the same universe. That universe is called Broken Dimensions, and is considered a complex sci-fi fantasy setting.
FRACTAL ALLIANCES - a multimedia sci-fi fantasy anthology which follows the slow decline of an empire, the machinations of several powerful antagonists, and the relationships between the people who eventually bring about the downfall of both. Includes:
Small, short comics
Character-focused illustrations
Written fiction
Most of the main cast is queer, and the majority of what’s been written (though not yet shared) is queer romance and smut. (I wish I was joking lmao; I have the majority of the big “finale” of the series written and it’s almost 200k words. I have written probably twice that count in extraneous smut side-stories ✌️✨)
THE LYCANTHRA SYNDICATE - a (might-still-become-a) webcomic about a not-quite-crime syndicate fighting to keep their town safe from mind-controlling arcane orders of evil ghost-creatures. Features an established patchwork/found family, trans werewolves, robots with souls, and some sick magic duels. (Also: pretty much every member of the main cast is trans or otherwise deviates from prescribed gender norms… if that at all interests you.)
WORLDBUILDING - I also have just a BUNCH of worldbuilding things shoved onto my Patreon lol, and the basics are available on my project website!

OTHER NOTES
Why "Artistic Menace?"
I had a discussion recently about my branding/chosen internet handle, so I thought I’d why I chose such a "troublesome" name. IRL, I'm genuinely not much of a troublemaker (in fact, I was a goody-two-shoes kid with perfectionism and anxiety growing up, and if I did something wrong I cried). However I am... shall we say... "of a certain troublesome experience."
That is to say, I'm a messy, creative queer who left a strict religious sect and lives a socially different life from most in my small rural community. Ergo, a bit of a menace, really ;D
The name is also an allusion to my persona character, a chaotic "Watcher" type who is literally called The Menace. (I'll link the post about that once I finally make it, promise.)
On Politics
I am a political person. I was raised to be always aware of current events, and it gives me something to research. I endeavor to try to keep up with current events. My experience as a trans person is considered inherently political by millions of people and in 2026 is being legislated constantly without regard for my needs or health as a trans individual. I am constantly reading and sometimes involved in politics.
That said: this is not a political blog, unless we’re talking fiction. Please keep real-world political opinions and comments off this blog unless you have a good, genuine reason to bring them up. (Side note: if you’d like to know if certain features of the story are related to current or historical events, that’s fine and you’re perfectly welcome to ask.) Thank you!

I’m really enamored with the dynamic of two characters who work perfectly in tandem, like pacific rim drift compatible level, but they don’t like each other. It’s not even as strong an emotion as hate it’s just a very neutral-negative dislike, but they still act in perfect concert and their individual abilities are fully complementary
AHAHA! I finally finished the revision of "Take Me Out of My Head," which is an Ev-centric trilogy of short stories based around the events that lead to Deis getting banned from Northern Tartarus altogether, and Ev's friends finding out about the restrictions the Imperial Council put on their magic (which is highly illegal lol).
I'm going to let it set and ruminate for a few days, then I will edit and likely post the trilogy piece by piece on AO3 :D

Shire and Ev have a… TENSE relationship before the Envarian coup.
Shire joins the group during/around the Tartarun Civil Wars. He starts off as this young kid, fresh out from under his mother’s thumb, who does really well under the tutelage of the more seasoned leadership of the Northern Coalition (Nedir Al’verde) of Tartarus. He gets kind of awestruck by Ev and Talis for a while, but eventually grows out of it and becomes a very promising young leader once his mother dies and he takes control of Envari.
Then the rest of his arch happens, he makes some questionable new friends, and he… learns some things he shouldn’t, some of which are true and some of which aren’t. He picks a lot of fights with Ev as result, especially after he disavows the rest of their friend group. They kind of make an easy target, and because Ev is protective of their secrets and also still trying to protect him, they usually end up falling for his bait and argue with him. A lot.
