Yesterday, designers from Studio Akko took a field trip to preview the expansive contemporary wing of the Armory Week show at Pier 94 in New York City.
A fresh ocean breeze greets art lovers as they walk towards the triangular roofed warehouses that house the Armory, and once inside, a colorfully stimulating world of booths filled with an ensemble of the world's best in show of contemporary art. At Wednesday's preview, the crowd, equally diverse and international, you could find a multilingual mix of art buyers, art aficionados, press and anyone looking for inspiration and a pulse on what's happening in the art world.
Here are just a small sample of some of our favorites and what to look forward to on this sunny opening day at the Armory.
