The gas station itself is a "classic twentieth century American icon" that will soon become a luxury condo. Visit Sheep Station on the corner of 10th Avenue and West 24th Street before it disappears the end of October.
/ NEW YORK GAS STATION GOES GREEN...LITERALLY
An abandoned gas station in uptown New York has been beautifully landscaped with rolling lawns and manicured bushes. The station was purchased by developer and art collector Michael Shvo who will later on turn it into an apartment building. In the mean time, the space is being used to show case public art until late next year.
