1- its very simple- all the others have had twists, or ability to change something, but third life is simple. You have 3 lives and then you’re gone. No ability to share lives, no fun ways of making interactions. Just three lives, and you’re free to live out all of those as you wish, until you’re red, when you have to kill. The simplicity makes it painful. In a way it’s similar to real life. Too late, it’s gone, and it won’t come back. And that rawness makes it painful, and beautiful like a tragedy, because it has a definitiveness and simplicity that the others don’t due to their twists

2- THIS WAS THE FIRST ONE. The lifers came in, not knowing what to expect, other than it’s hardcore but you can die twice, resulting in a lot less suspicion and confinement to groups than the other series had. People moved quite freely and were very friendly, but then got very vicious and violent very quickly. The fact that all these kinda alliences were broken, and that no one quite realised until about 1/2 way through that in this game you’re in it for yourself and maybe 1-3 others, but when they did it all went downhill. It was all bants and fun, until people became red life’s and people got scared, meaning that people did what people do best and turned on each other. And the loss of this, and the quick change was almost whiplash, causing everyone to turn inward and focus on their survival. And the HUMANITY of that compared to the loss of the friendships made it even more tragic
