✝ — SOMETIMES IT WAS RELIEVING TO GET AWAY FROM THE CITY.  He doesn’t often get to go camping or spend time in nature, save for parks or gardens. So, when he does, he elects to go far into the woods, taking the time to really feel the separation from all the hustle and bustle of his usual world. As such, he sits by a crackling fire, occasionally poking at the wood fueling it and looking up to the speckling of stars above him. 

He didn’t expect anyone to be walking by so deep in the woods, but the snap of twigs startled him, nearly reaching for the rifle set by his side before realizing it was only another hiker. At least - he was assuming. She had a bow, so she could be assumed a hunter too. 

He was about to ask when the distant howls stop him from doing so immediately. They sounded like WOLVES, but he doesn’t pay it too much mind, “I figured I was the only one out here - but I guess there’s other people and a few wolves.” 

MOONLIT AESTHETIC 

it’s not odd for her to be out this late. the woods at night brought a strange sense of comfort, despite the danger that hid within. it’s why there’s always a knife tucked into her boot, her bow kept within reach in case of emergencies.

naturally, allison is drawn towards the fire. the sign of another hiker is always a pleasant surprise, and she elects to move in a little closer. the snap of a twig gives away her position, and her eyes are quick to dart to the weapon at the mans side. it’s not unusual for people this deep in the woods to carry some form of protection with them, but the rifle seems almost excessive for a hiker. it’s not like she’d know, though ----- she hasn’t gone hiking in the traditional sense in a while.

“ well, where do we begin? after you died SLASH left there were assassins trying to kill everyone for money and i nearly got shot in the head. THAT was fun. then, fuck, the chimera and dread doctors came to town. they’re scientific supernatural bitches who are trying to create the worst monster ever that YOUR family first killed. then some beta bitch chimera called theo came and i ended up accidentally killing a chimera in self defence cause it wanted to eat me and now scott hates me cause he doesn’t know it was an accident. that’s about the long and short of it. ” with stiles it’s easier to just accept a word dump rather then do anything like ask questions. if he gets it out then he’ll stop shaking. possibly.

a bow wasn’t exactly the kind of weapon sarah would choose - her smith & wesson pistol was in the waistband of her pants, a sheath of knives tied around her thigh. those were her go to, but she wasn’t going to question allison’s choices. on the contrary, she was just relieved she had something, and they could get moving. “there’s a warehouse not too far from here, my target should be there. i need you as backup.”

  “ … my plan wasn’t good enough? because it didn’t involve being RECKLESS? ”

                             ❛  that  sounds  more  like  something  you  want  me  to  do  than  something  i’d  actually  do,  ❜  he  muses,  a  grin  donning  his  features  before  he  looked  away,  downing  another  handful  of  m&ms.  (  there’s  like…three  left  in  the  pack,  and  he’s  not  sorry.  )   ❛  it’s  not  my  fault  they’re  a  gift  from  the  gods  !!  ❜  he’s  got  a  whole  stash  of  them,  in  truth,  though  he  doubts  they’ll  be  lasting  very  long.   ❛  great  !!  i’m  dying  to  see  what  drunk  allison  is  like.  ❜  he’s  a  firm  believe  that  you  never  truly  know  someone  until  you’ve  gotten  them  drunk.  

     ‘   no, not me.  it might been my dad …   ’    he made a mental note to check john’s journal again when he had the time.    ‘  anyway   –   i’m dean winchester. ’

if she was looking for straight kindness she’d have sought out scott first. if he didn’t also freak out about how she’d died in his arms. “ what brought you back? you get some hunter sense that weird shit be happening once again and the pack fractured apart? or is that just blind luck you came back during a shitstorm? ”

    death was nothing new, bandit’s life was haunted with death which was likely the curse of being raised by monster hunters. perhaps such a fate was deserved, shot down by hunters and bleeding out in the forest. it wasn’t poetic, it was a fucking tragedy but the monster had been  reunited with his twin. yet, that couldn’t even last. he’s sure he WOULD find jericho again but for the time being, a blood soaked ghost would wander. it almost fits the haunting elements of his hometown.

    he’d never been one to process death well, you know? bandit didn’t know how to cope with death and that… tragically led to his alienation from the friend group, and no one was able  to offer help so he was by himself there. then jericho died and bandit  isolated himself from everyone — he didn’t know how to handle death. not even his own. which is what leads to the wandering, seeming lost and even slightly TERRIFIED.

her death had been unexpected ---- though in way, she hadn’t been surprised by the way the battle had gone. she’d done what she’d come to do ; her best friend was safe, and her friends were okay. it was a gracious ending, until it wasn’t.

waking up ( if you could call it that ) as a ghost was a shock. it’s a lonely life, though one she’s grown accustomed to. wandering the streets in the same clothes she wore when she died, alone with only her thoughts for company. it wasn’t a very glamorous life, but it was better than tumbling through the endless void of the afterlife, at least.

the feeling of someone nearby startles her ----- it’s not something she’s felt before, the presence of another ghost ( ? ) nearby. she moves closer to their location, head tilting as she takes in sense of familiarity that comes along with the newcomer. however, that feeling is soon brushed aside and replaced by a hope that she could possibly help them.

          STEVE FOUND HIMSELF TILTING HIS HEAD TO THE SIDE,  lips pursing while he pondered on what she had just said,  and most of all,  on HIS plan,  which he didn’t think it was all that bad,  but then again he was known for the fact that he’d rather act than wait around to figure out a better plan.    ❝  Why not  ?  ❞    A small chuckle was offered.     ❝  It’s the best plan we have,  and ONLY one for that matter.  ❞    His last words followed by a raise of his brow.     ❝  At worst case scenario,  we fight.  ❞
