oh woah the blog turns 5! thanks for being here with me y’all :)

be proud of yourself for all that you’ve accomplished, large or small

you do so much more than people give you credit for – be proud of yourself for your progress

you are doing the best you can right now

you don’t have to be doing something productive every minute of every day

give yourself all of the love you deserve (that is to say, a lot!)

you are so much easier to love than you think you are – you don’t see all of the wonderful parts of you that shine through when you’re doing something you love, when you’re interacting with a stranger, and when you’re simply existing

reminder to set down all that you carry and take a little break to just be – you don’t have to always be doing something

if it’s causing you pain, it is bad enough for you to be upset about – there’s no threshold for how bad things have to be for you to get help

it’s completely okay if the only person you can help today is yourself – that’s enough

be kind to yourself, especially when you don’t think you deserve it

it won’t be as bad as you think it will, and, even if it is, it will be over and getting better before you know it

you deserve to rest. don’t feel guilty for doing what’s best for your soul

oh um my blog turned 4 a few days ago! wow!! i’m really sorry i haven’t been posting a lot lately; i started school over the fall so i was busy with that and my mental health has been Not Great (unrelated) but i am so thankful for all of you!! 💓 i will try to post more than i have been! (no promises)
