“What is wrong with me?” He countered, eyes squarely on her. “Why do you ask that like I am always the bad guy? Don’t you think that’s a little rich?” He tried very hard not to roll his eyes at her even if every part of his being wanted to. “This is the plan. We go in, we knock out the guards, and we take the weapon. It’s not that complicated. They are the ones that have been talking about Charlotte. I’ve heard them and if you want to stick around and confirm with them you can but I am not going to let them even have a chance at her.”

“Make anyone cry today?”

          bubbly  laughter  flees  glossed  lips  at  the  sound  of  utter  despair  coming  from  the  other,  sleep  depravation  finally  taking  its  toll  as  she  lies  down  on  carpeted  living  room  floor.  “  oh,  don’t  be  so  dramatic  !  it  could’ve  happened  to  any  one  of  us.  “  well  --------  it’s  not  likely.  but  she’ll  choose  encouraging  words  over  a  reality  check  any  day  !  it’s  already  bad  enough  that  someone  was  rude  enough  to  film  &  upload  a  girl’s  total  meltdown  on  the  slap.  not  that  she  has  any  clue  what  her  rant  about  noah  was  ever  referring  to,  but  it  couldn’t  be  good  if  it  warranted  public  humiliation.  “  now  seriously,  before  i  completely  fall  asleep  -----  why  was  she  sooo  mad  at  you  ?  “

      “um ….  I’m  not  sure  I  want  to  go,  thanks   anyway  …”  Stiles lets out a weak but awkward chuckle as he backs away.   “...though I don’t have a choice,  do i....?” 

( sms → simon. ) yeah, flagging a taxi was ridiculous tonight for some reason so i just walked home. did band practice go okay? i didn’t mean to dip out so early tonight.

                        „ you can’t ! did you look at yourself ? “ , isabelle asked , a frustrated sigh slipping past her lips , as she sat down next to him and shook her head. „ you need to rest..regain your strength , that’s what you gotta do , but you can’t keep fighting ! “
